MOZAIC, an upcoming indie album by artist Stellae, might just be the most anticipated album of 2019, and it's only March. So when Stellae dropped a single from the album out of the blue, you can bet the internet is losing its' collective minds. The single titled Space Girl has already climbed to #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and doesn't seem to be slowing down.

It's no secret that Space Girl is a love song. The lyrics are downright poetic and tell of how utterly whipped Stellae is. While the lyrics aren't quite clear as to whether they're about a girlfriend or a crush, we think they're pretty clear on who they're about. And it's the one and only Brie Larson.
Stellae thirsting over Brie Larson is old news, but Brie Larson reciprocating the thirst has us quaking. It's even crossed over into the real world, with Larson inviting Stellae to the premiere of Captain Marvel.
Brie Larson also posted a picture of a coffee date (her words, not ours) on Instagram, with an unnamed woman in the picture who looks suspiciously like Stellae. It's even captioned with a heart and rainbow flag emoji, seeming to confirm Larson as LGBTQ.
So saying that Space Girl is about Larson isn't too extreme of a theory. The lyrics even make a reference to Captain Marvel, saying "Love me higher girl, love me further girl, love me faster girl, please love me, space girl" which is a direct callout to the quote "Higher, further, faster baby." from the movie.
Come on, it's so obvious.
Despite constant begging from fans, neither Larson or Stellae have officially confirmed the nature of their relationship. However, even their celebrity friends like Tessa Thompson and Hayley Kiyoko have gotten on #TeamBriellae with comments and likes cheering them on. Fans have even gone so far as to start lobbying for Stellae to be cast in the next CaptainMarvel movie as Carol Danver's girlfriend. Because sometimes, it's the art that imitates life.
Whether or not Stellae is going to release more singles before the official drop of MOZAIC is unclear, but we're pretty excited either way.
