Say what?

Yoongi continued to stare at me and I felt as if I were about ready to teeter over from lack of breathing when Jungkook ran to the rescue.

"Yoonki! Looks like you've met my best friend." He smiled up at Yoongi brightly before wiggling his eyebrows "Isn't she cute?"

Yoongi's expression stiffened as he took an awkward step back, turning his head away sharply as he nodded, a light dusting of pink appearing on his sugar pale cheeks, that or it was just my imagination. "Yes... she is," he responded quietly.

"I'm actually surprised that you were the first to approach her! Normally I'd have to drag you or..." Jungkook was quickly cut off by Yoongi's heated glare. "A-anyway, she's a big fan of Bts, but this is her first concert. She wanted to meet you the most."

I found myself blushing, barely allowing myself to nod. Curse Jungkook for not having a filter. Yoongi didn't need to know all that, after all, it's really embarrassing for me and probably awkward for him... I felt his gaze land on me once again, the intensity of it makes my heart flutter briskly.

"Is that so?" he sounded amused.

No sooner had he said this, a light hand was placed on the top of my head, lightly patting it. The hand was large and warm, sending a chill down my spine as my blush grew. Was this really happening? Was I simply home, in bed, dreaming? If I was, I never wanted to wake up. Yoongi's touch caused a feeling of peace to spread through me from head to toe, a feeling of safety. He was so gentle despite his grim appearance and it lured me towards him that much more. He spoke again, drawing me back to what I prayed was reality.

"Well, I hope you enjoyed our performance." I peeked up to find him smiling down at me "We worked really hard when we found out Kookie's adorable friend was coming. Was it everything you hoped it would be?"

A weak "yes" was all I could manage along with a nod as he slowly removed his hand from my head.

"Suga! Jungkook!" the director of Bts called out from the door that leads into the maze-like hallways I had escaped from "Come and review your performance with the others."

The others were already following the director out the door, leaning against one another as exhaustion began to take effect. I looked up at Yoongi, wanting nothing more than a little more time in this blissful moment.

"Aish..." he sighed heavily before offering me a weak smile "Guess we've got to get going. I wish we could have talked a bit more..." My heartstrings pulled at his words "Jungkook, you need to invite her to events more often, I'm sure the others would like the chance to meet her." Jungkook nodded as Yoongi turned his attention back to me, holding out his hand "It was a pleasure to meet you (Y/n). If we're lucky, we'll meet again."

I lifted my hand, placing it in his, watching in a daze as he covered our handhold with his free hand before giving a brief shake. He then pulled away, looping his arm around Jungkook's neck before dragging him after the other members. I felt my knees grow weak as they walked away, surprised when Yoongi glanced back at me briefly, and then he was gone.

I released a shaky breath as my escort came to stand beside me, his hands clasped behind his back, ready to take me home. I didn't want to leave, not yet. But I knew that if I stayed any longer, I would just get in the way. So I allowed the escort to lead me through the maze of hallways and out to my waiting car.

I woke up with a gasp, looking around my room frantically. Was it a dream? Not knowing the answer, I grabbed my phone from off the bedside table, speed texting Jungkook. My heart was still racing, the feelings swirling in my mind were so fresh, they could only have been from a dream... Moments later, my phone buzzed against my lap. I read his response eagerly only to flop back against my pillows.

(Y/n): Was it all a dream? Did I really go to your concert?

Jungkook: Of course it's not a dream! You hit your head or something?

I groaned as my head began to pound, no longer thinking straight. That means I really met Yoongi... And he really had said that I was cute. I smiled like any other fangirl would, just barely managing to contain a squeal. He had even said that he wanted to see me again! Well... Not exactly, but close enough! Before I could get too deep into my fangirling, my phone vibrated again with another message.

Jungkook: Btw, come over to BigHit studios, I've got a surprise for u ;P

I tilted my head to the side, not sure if he was pulling my leg like usual, or if he really had something for me. Either way, I might as well go meet him and see what he wants. Rolling out of bed, I trudged over to my closet where I looked over my wardrobe. I selected a dark gray, tight-knit sweater and black skinny jeans. It was a bit chilly outside, so I threw a vibrant red scarf around my neck. I did a small circle in front of my full body mirror, admiring my work. It was missing something...

Walking over to my small jewelry box, I pulled out ruby stud earrings. I then slid my feet into a pair of red worn sneakers before grabbing a small black handbag. I raced out of my apartment door, making sure to lock it before speed walking down the hallway and down several flights of stairs. The people that I passed looked at me longer than they needed, not use to seeing a foreigner in Korea. I was originally from (Country) but had chosen to pursue my love of fashion in Korea. They had so many unique and beautiful styles, it would be hard to work anywhere else.

I was used to people looking at me funny, but I didn't mind. This was where I wanted to be, and there was nothing they could do to me to make me change my mind. I had worked so hard to learn the language so that I could engage in fluent conversation. It was very beautiful here as well, even if it was a city. The skies were always a clear blue with fluffy white clouds and the plants were flourishing.

I knew my way to BigHit studios by heart, having had to meet Jungkook there on more than a few occasions, though I've never seen more than the inside of their lobby. It took approximately fifteen minutes to get there on foot. I walked quickly, looking up as the large building came into view, its windows catching the reflection of the Sun beautifully. I approached the doorway, which opened automatically, allowing me to easily enter the clean, modern lobby.

Jungkook ran up to me with his charistically large smile. "You got here faster than I expected, the boss will like that."

"Wait, wow wow, what boss?" I interrupted, holding my hands up as if to ward off his sudden words.

"Oh..." He laughed a little "Well, you've been hired."

I blinked blankly at him a few times "Hired? For what? When?"

"Just now, to be a personal fashion designer of Bts." Jungkook explained eagerly "Yoonki's designer quit because she couldn't handle him anymore, she said he was inconsiderate and harsh. I think she was just disappointed Yoonki didn't show more emotion around her..." he shrugged "It was last minute and we were just getting ready to have a dress rehearsal tonight for our next concert."

"But how did it end up being me that got hired? Your company only hires those who are married. You know, to prevent them and the members from trying to get close?" my head was whirling and I was doing all that I could to think straight.

"Well, we were going to postpone the dress rehearsal because of the sudden loss of the designer, but the concert is so close that it would be hard to find another time to do it." Jungkook looked very proud of himself "So I told the director that I knew a person who could step in immediately. Now, concerning the policy of you needing to be married, he said he would overlook it considering that we are pressed for time, and he told me that if you do a good job this time, then he'll make you permanent! Isn't that great?!"

I let loose a squeal, hugging Jungkook excitedly "Thank you thank you thank you!!!!"

He laughed along with me, hugging me in return "We better hurry on over, the others are already at the stadium practicing. I was given permission to wait here for you."

Jungkook and I ran back outside to a black car that was already running. As soon as we climbed inside, the driver sped off for the stadium. I could hardly contain the butterflies that tickled my insides, threatening to burst out of me. It had been a dream of mine to be a personal designer to Bts the moment I was introduced to them, and now here I was headed to my first day on the job, and to make everything a million times better, I had been assigned to work with Min Yoongi!
