I had only met him briefly at the Bts concert two weeks ago, but the very idea of getting to work with him whenever he has to appear as Suga is just amazing! I literally felt as if I could fly right this very moment!
When our car pulled up to the stadium, Jungkook and I dove out the car doors and raced each other inside. Once inside, he leads me through the curved halls and into the large arena, seats as far as the eye could see lined the horizon. In the center was a large stage, lights flashing as the stylish J-hope practiced his on-stage version of "Boy meets evil." I couldn't help but skip down all the steps, Jungkook following close behind me.
Before we could reach the stage itself, a tall young man ran up to meet us, a large smile showing proudly. I instantly recognized him as Kim Taehyung, or as most fans knew him, V. He bowed his head to me before extending an enthusiastic hand.
"You must be Jungkook's best friend." His smile grew as I accepted his hand "It's great to meet you! I'm Kim Taehyung, but you can call me Tae."
As soon as his introduction was, what he considered accomplished, he turned away from me sharply to dash back down the steps, leaping on to the stage to attack Jhope with a hug, despite him being in the middle of his practice. Screaming and giggling were heard from their direction, but they were almost nonexistent as I scanned the seats and stage for the one person I looked forward to seeing again the most. But strangely, Yoongi was nowhere to be seen. I turned to Jungkook with a questioning look, to which he shrugged.
"He's probably waiting in his dressing room." He replied "He can't get dressed without a designer selecting his outfit to ensure that everything is right, including with his quick changes. In other words, he's waiting for you."
I shook my head as my cheeks began to heat up "Well, take me to his dressing room so I can get to work."
Nodding with an amused smile, Jungkook takes hold of my wrist and guilds me to backstage, stopping to greet RM as he adjusted his headset mic. We then entered a white hall, taking a sharp right to another hall lined with doors that had gold stars plastered to the front. Jungkook pointed to the one in front of us.
"He should be right in there. I'd knock first, just in case he decided to undress for you." My best friend instructed, turning briskly and leaving me with a slack jaw, nervously trying to encourage myself forward.
With a quivering fist, I rapped my knuckles gently on the door, listening for any signs of movement from within the room. There was no answer... Maybe Jungkook was mistaken and Yoongi had moved to a different location? Even if he hadn't, I did knock in warning, so going in wouldn't be uncalled for. With that in mind, I grasped the doorknob and twisted until the door was able to open.
I cautiously entered the room. A few lights were on, revealing a rack of selected cloths and a vanity with a chair, several brushes, clips and makeup scattered across its surface. In the furthest corner of the room was a couch where the lights had remained turned off. Laying on the couch was a bundle of blankets with a tuft of black hair sticking out at one of the ends. I covered my mouth to silence my gasp as I realized who it was.
I walked closer to the couch, making each step as quiet as possible, though I was hesitant above all else. Yoongi was passed out on his side, his soft even breathing coming out in small snoores, the blanket wrapped tightly around him rising and falling with each breath. He was so cute compared to his normal unapproachable appearance. I was half tempted to let him continue sleeping when I remembered that he was right in the middle of a dress rehearsal and had been waiting for me.
Biting my lip, I reached forward, my fingers gently brushing the fabric of the blanket that covered his shoulder. Urging myself forward, I placed the rest of my hand on his shoulder before gently shaking it. A small groan pushed passed his pale lips as he pushed my hand away, tossing over onto his other side. I blinked at him for a few moments, not realizing that I had been holding my breath. I shook his shoulder again, more roughly this time, in hopes of breaking the haze of sleep that seemed to trap him.
He cussed under his breath before slowly sitting up, the blanket falling away from his upper body. Yoongi ran a lazy hand through his tossed hair before turning his sharp gaze upon me, his lips flat of emotion. My heart was racing as he stared blankly at me, obviously upset that I had woken him up. Finally, he tossed the rest of the blanket to the opposite side of the couch, standing up with a small stretch.
"Did you pick something out?" he spoke dryly, no longer looking to me.
"I'm sorry?"
"Cloths. Did you pick some out yet?" His words became heated in a flash as he pointed loosely at the clothing rack.
I shook my head as I scurried over to the rack, pushing through the many hangers, heart in my throat. He had been so kind at the concert, but now, there was a coldness to him. Why? Did he not recognize me from before? Maybe he was just playing kind because I was Jungkook's friend... Frowning I selected a bulky black leather jacket, a black T-shirt with an oval neckline, and a pair of black jeans torn at the knees. I handed them, bowing my head slightly, not daring to meet his dark eyes as he took the cloths from my hands.
"Accessories." He said plainly as he walked over to a door that I hadn't noticed near the back, what I assumed to be a privacy changing room.
"Oh! Right.." I looked over and found a small carrier with many drawers, necklaces, glasses, earrings, and rings scattered on the top lid.
I searched through them before coming upon a plain black choker and simple black belt. I knew he looked the best in black, and from what Jungkook told me, Suga was to be performing "Boy in love" with the other members. Jungkook had handed me a packet, describing the feel of each song as well as what the other designers had chosen for their members. I hadn't much time to read through it, choosing things off of what I knew about the feel of the song as well as what Suga typically wore. I looked up as the dressing door opened sharply and Suga held his hand out to me. I blindly handed him the accessories that I had selected, not sure if I was to say anything to him on why I chose the clothes and such...
I looked up at him as he fed the belt through the loops on his pants, smiling when I realized that the outfit had turned out! His slim shoulders were accented and because the outfit was completely black, his pale skin showed itself more than it normally would. Yoongi gave off a dangerous presence which was exactly what I was aiming for. He looked to me, holding the choker loosely between his fingers as if he were waiting for something.
"Oh..." I stood up briskly and took the choker from him, moving to stand behind him.
I gently pulled it around his neck, my fingers lightly brushing his sugar pale skin, watching curiously as he shivered. Perhaps he was a little cold? After I had clasped it, he stopped to look at my handiwork in the full body length mirror. Yoongi nodded a few times, fixing the collar of his leather jacket before grabbing his favorite cologne and spritzing it a few times around his body. I watched him with a dry mouth as he opened the door, ready to leave.
"Make sure to have an outfit ready for DNA." and with that he closed the door behind him, leaving me alone.
I released a breath, pushing my hair behind my ear. That wasn't so hard, but I wished I could have talked with him a bit more...
