ONGOING CALL WITH frying chan...
[5 mins 38 secs]

"In and out," his soothing voice said. She sniffled again, puffing her cheeks and holding her breath before letting it out. Her breath caught in her chest, stuttering before she heaved it out. "There you go. One more time."

Ro listened to him, closing her eyes and counting her breaths. A clatter rang from the other side of the phone, muffled conversation being heard before it was silent again. Ro curled up in the seat she was sitting in before opening her eyes. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bother you."

"You're not," Chan argued. "You never do, you know that."

"But, you're working," her voice was hushed and raspy. She cleared her throat before wiping at her eyes - her eyelashes were beginning to stick together from her tears. "I'm being dumb anyways."

"You're not," Chan said again. He was leaning against a counter as he looked up at his coworker. He gave them a small side-smile before returning his attention to Ro. She was starting to sniffle again. "I don't care where I am or what I'm doing. If you need me, I'm here. You know that."

"I do," Ro whispered. She curled further into the theater chair, her knees to her chest as she formed herself into the smallest ball she could. "I'm still sorry."

Chan let out a hum, looking at the clock. It was lunchtime for her - she should've been with Jeongin; should've been with her new friends. Chan furrowed his eyebrows, "what happened?"

"I-" she hesitated. It was dumb - she shouldn't have been crying over stupid things, but she was. She took in another deep breath before deciding to tell Chan everything, even if her mind told her not to. "I thought it would be different, you know? They know who I am now, and they get why I hid myself. But, it doesn't even matter. They're still talking about her like she invented constellations and they're still in awe because I look so much like her."

Ro took in another deep breath - her eyes were starting to tear up again. "And it is dumb because it still makes me so sad that no one even knows my name. They call me Daisy's sister or Daisy's look-alike and it just-. I'm not Daisy, and it seems like everyone hates that."
