WARNING: SOME SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE 'Warm Bodies'. IT'S GOOD AS SHIT AND I SUGGEST YOU GO WATCH THAT.

The sounds buzzing throughout the kitchen seemed to hypnotize the black skeleton as he was leaned against a counter and staring into the soul of the microwave. A bag. Just spinning slowly on a plate from behind the microwave window. The bag shook with every pop is if quivering in fear of the heat. When it had laid motionless was when a delightful little tune rang out, snapping Template out of his thoughts.

He quickly opened the microwave door and grabbed the piping hot bag with his gloved hands, opening it and pouring it all into a huge bowl supposedly meant for sharing.

Today, Template decided to take a lazy day with Pale. Just putting on a good ol' romance movie he found someplace and spend time with each other while he still wore his pajamas. The thought of snuggling and sharing a blanket with him was interesting and as much as he could tolerate Pale's touching, he just wasn't in the mood for it today. So they were just going to hang in peace.

With the huge bowl of freshly-made popcorn drenched in butter and covered in salt now obtained, Template went back over to the couch where a blanket-covered Pale was stationed at.

"Pale, did you put on the movie as I asked?" Template hummed, setting the bowl on the cushion before draping his arms over the couch. Much to everyone's shock and horror, Pale didn't do a single thing other than blankly look over at him when his name was mentioned. Template let out a mildly irritating groan and, after some insistence, pushed Pale to go put in the movie.

After that was all said and done, they started to watch the movie.

It was a movie about zombies, in particular, how a single zombie started falling in love with a human girl and how that (spoiler alert) started a chain reaction of zombies being cured. It was honestly a very interesting movie to say the very least.

"You know..." Template started somewhere in the middle of the movie after finishing three-quarters of the popcorn. "You remind me so much about the zombie."

"R," Pale corrected, earning a wave from the other as if to say 'yeah yeah'.

"You don't feel much, you're quite literally pale, you don't talk much, you collect thing, mostly clothes, the first time we met you practically traumatized me, you practically named yourself with my assistance, and you fell in love with someone who made you understand something in that nonexistent soul of yours!~" Template cooed, leaning over the couch to see a bit of Pale's face. As expected, Pale didn't give any reaction, but Template knew he heard him nonetheless. Template looked back at the screen to continue with the movie.

After the movie was done and the credits were rolling, Template looked back over to Pale who was still staring straight forward.

"Pale." The named skeleton glanced over to the darker, unblinking. "What character do I remind you of?" Pale looked down at the plush couch as if in deep thought. Inside, Template was hoping he would give him a list of how he was like the girl the zombie fell in love with. It would make re-watching this so much fun thinking that both of them were inserting themselves as the main characters as they talked and helped the world out and kiss after Pale protecting him from a multiple story fall.

As Template kept daydreaming, Pale finally looked back up at him. The former snapped out momentarily as he smiled over at him.

"Well, what is it?" Template anticipated, clapping his hands together and placing the pointer fingers against his mouth.

It took a moment for Pale to speak, the other grinning excitedly as Pale open his mouth and let his soft voice pour through.

"Bonies." Was all Pale could utter, an arm lifting from inside the blanket to point at Template startled expression.

     "..."

     "..."

     "Excuse me, wHA-?!"

_____________

Someone please make a Warm Bodies version of Pale and Template before I do the awful decision of doing that myself.

Seriously, it fits them REALLY well. And I need some of that shit.
