Chapter 1: Who's moving in?!

Jessica's POV

          Its summer time and I'm stuck at home. Its so boring, I don't even have internet.

I think my mom wants me to DIE of boredom! I think my mom should know that a 17 yr old girl

needs her internet! My phone rings indicating that I have a new text message,

"Let’s take a trip to Sunset Boulevard in the city of stars, uh huh

The city of blinding lights and starry eyes

I said now welcome to the city of angels, woah

City of angels, woah"

From: Claire<3

To: Jess

Hey, Jess! Wanna come over to me house? I'm so bored! And I have internet! Woot, woot! ^_^ We can fangirl over Emblem 3 if you want. x) Oh and there is something i need to tell you.... xx"

To: Claire<3

From: Jess 

Aha, I'm down! Girl, Wesley is so cute. *.* It would be so awesome if we see them around LA! Be there in three minutes!  

               With that I'm on my way to Claire's apartment, we only live 2 blocks away from each other. As I get closer to Claire's apartment building I see there's a moving truck there. I wonder who's moving in.

I get to the familiar red building, punch in the code, and go to Claire's apartment. 

            Claire's waiting for me in the hallway. I go up to her and say,"Hey, Claire!" "Hey, Jess!", Claire

says before hugging me tightly. She quickly gets off me and says,"Okay, I have super huge news,

but don't freak out!!" I look at her and she see's that I want her to continue without me saying

anything. "Emblem3ismovingintothisapartmentbuilding", Claire says super fast. "What? English

please!", I say jokingly. "Emblem 3 is moving in to this apartment building", Claire says slowly.

"Excuse me, ladies, we need to pass by.", I hear a voice say and automatically know its Wesley.  

"Oh, um sorry.", Claire and I say at the same time. "Its alright", says another voice and by the look on

Claire's face I can tell its Keaton without having to turn around. "Claire, you have a chance with him

you know? I mean you're 16.", I whisper to Claire. "Are you kidding me? Like, me having a chance

with Keaton? Please!", Claire whispers to me with a little bit of sadness in her voice.  "Hey, Claire,

would you and you're friend like to come over?", Keaton asks Claire. Woah, when did this happen?? 

Claire's POV

-15 Minutes Ago- 

                "Mom, I'm going to get some Starbucks, be back in ten minutes", I say and I'm out the door.

In the hallway, I put on my earphones I look down at my Ipod and scroll through the songs until I find

Sunset Boulevard by Emblem 3. I'm doing this while walking and all of a sudden I bump into

someone and I quickly glance up,"I'm so so-, wait aren't you Keaton?", I say as I recognize Keaton.

"Yeah, I am, and you are...?", Keaton says casually. Keaton Stromberg wanted to know my name,

MY NAME! "Claire.", I say, I think I stuttered. "Nice name, Claire", Keaton says and smiled. "Um, I'm

going to go now, nice meeting you, Keaton.", I say and start walking towards the door of the

building. "Hey, wait, where are you going?", Keaton asks as he catches up to me. "Starbucks,

wanna come?", I ask hopefully. "Sure, I need to take a break from carrying the stuff into the

apartment.", Keaton says. "Wait, you're moving in to this building?", I ask stunned. "Yeah.", Keaton

says. Woah, Keaton living here! "So, are you moving in by yourself or?", I ask. "Nahh, I'm moving in

with Wesley and Drew.", Keaton says pointing at Wesley and Drew sitting in the front steps drinking

Red Bull. "Oh, awesome.", I say. We started walking toward Starbucks when Keaton asks,"Um, so

where exactly is Starbucks?" "Its write next to the bank and The Wiltern.", I answer him. "Hey, wasn't

Ed Sheeran at The Wiltern like about 6 months ago, on October 1st?", He asks. "Yeah!", I say. "Did

you go?", Keaton asked as we entered Starbucks. "Nope, I had too much homework to do that day. I

wish he would've come like over the Summer.", I say sadly. We get to cashier and both Keaton & I

order a caramel frappuccino . I'm about to pay when Keaton says,"Its on me." He then smiles and

pays the cashier. "Keaton, I could've paid, you know?", I tell him. "Yeah, but you're the first girl i've

seen all day act normal around me without screaming their heads off.", Keaton says as he grabs

our drinks. We head back to the building and all I could say was,"Oh." "Yeah, but its cool. I kinda like

the attention", he blushed while saying this. I take a sip from my drink before I say,"Well, you

certainly have a lot of attention right now" I point my finger to a group of screaming girls. "Sorry, I

might have to sign some autographs", He says apologetically. "No prob, bob", I say. "Bob?", He

asks. I didn't have time to answer because the group of girls had caught up with us. 

"OMG, KEATON, YOU'RE SO CUTE!"

"MARY ME!"

"CAN YOU SIGN THIS FOR ME?!"

"WHERE IS WESLEY  AND DREW?!"

"YEAH WHERE ARE THEY?!"

"OMG, WHO THE HECK IS SHE?!"

"KEATON, ARE YOU DATING HER?" 

            Wow, these girls were seriously something. Keaton gave them his autograph and we were

on our way again. "They thought we were dating..", I say. "Yeah, but that happens with every girl they

see me with."He says.  We reach the building and I say,"Well, I'm going to go home now, see you

around?" "See you around", Keaton answers. 

Jessica's POV

         Claire just finished telling me about her and Keaton,"Girl, you guys are meant to be!" "Please,

Jessica. I'm probably just some other girl to him.", Claire says. "Why would he ask for us to go over

then? Anyways, were going over in like an hour, go get cute for Keaton!", I say as I push her into the

bathroom. Since Claire lives in a single, I had to whisper this so her mom couldn't hear us. I'm

awkwardly sitting on Claire's bed waiting for her to come out.  I'm so glad her brother or dad isn't

here or it would be even more awkward. I hope that while she and Keaton are mingling tonight, I

could get to know Wesley.
