Chapter 7: (Part 3) First Kiss

Jessica's POV

 (A week ago) 

"You don't have to come with me." I tell Wesley once we get out of the building. 

"Well, after that kiss, I do." 

"So...," I say awkwardly as we walk together, our steps matching. 

"What do you want to do about that kiss?" Wesley asks.

"I don't know. All I know is that I liked it, that's for sure." I say and I blush at the words coming out of my mouth.

"I liked it too." Wesley says in a thoughtful voice. 

"To be honest, i've kinda liked you for a while now," I say shyly. 

We walk in silence until we reach where I live. 

"So, this is goodbye," I say and start to awkwardly walk away. 

"Wait." Wesley says, grabs me by the waist, pulls towards him, and kisses me. 

"I kinda like you too."

Jessica's Pov

(Present)

"So, yeah. After that we started hanging out more and he eventually asked me to be his girlfriend," I say finishing telling Claire about Wesley and I. 

"Damn, you've been getting some action." Claire says and wink at me, with her mouth open. 

"Can't you wink with your mouth closed?" I ask as i laugh at her. 

"Shut up." is Claire's lame reply. 

"So, what're you going to do about Keaton? I mean, you just walked away." I ask as i lay down on the bed. 

"I don't know. He's actually my first kiss. I think i messed things up. UGH," Claire says as she settles down next to me in the bed and groans into her pillow. 

"Well, just call him. Let him know we're going tonight." 

Claire's POV

I get up from the bed and grab my phone from the couch. Nervously i go through my contacts until I see Keaton's name. I call him. 

"It's ringing," I tell Jess nervously. 

Keaton picks up," Um, hey." 

"Uh, hi." I say awkwardly. 

"Um, so about earlier today. I'm sorry, i'll never do it again. Can we just forget it ever happened," Keaton asks. 

"NO. I mean, I didn't mind. I was just shocked. and it was my first kiss. I like you, a lot. I just called to say that Jess, Nica and I want to go laser tagging with you guys." I say in a rush into the phone. 

"I was your first kiss?" Keaton asks in a soft voice. 

"Um, yeah." I say. 

"Good. I'm the first guy to have ever touched your lips." Keaton says cheekily. 

"Oh, shut up. Anyways, I gotta go. See you later. Bye." I say and hang up. 

"You do realize we haven't asked Nica if she can come, right?" Jessica reminds me. 

"She has to come. Besides, if Drew is there, she'll be there," I say and sigh.

Okay, I know. Not the best chapter. I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING IN LIKE FOREVER. I've had some problems and I just wasn't in the mood to write. I'm better now though, so i'm back. YAY.
