Claire's POV
"I'm going over to Jessica's house mom," I tell as I go our the door. I start walking through the hallway and Keaton comes up to me,"Sup, Claire."
"Hey."
"So, where are you going?" Keaton asks awkwardly as we stand outside of our building.
"Jessica asked me to help her with some winter break assignment. In heading over there."
"Oh. Hey, I was wondering if Jess, Nica, and you would like to go laser tagging with Wesley, Drew, and I later on today."
"Oh, I would love to. I'll them. Keaton, I'm going now. See you later." I say and start walking away when suddenly, Keaton grabs my wrists.
"Don't I get a hug and a kiss on the cheek?" He says teasingly.
That's when I realize it. I've never hugged Keaton before. Yeah, we held hands last week, but we've never hugged.
"Claire?"
"Yeah?"
"You spaced out."
"Oh, sorry."
"It's okay. You can make it up with a hug."
I hug him and lean in to kiss him on the cheek. As I lean forward, to kiss him on the cheek, he turns around and I end up kissing him on the lips. I quickly pull back.
"I gotta go," I say and start walking away in the direction where Jessica lives.
"Claire!" Keaton yells, but I just keep walking.
I just kissed Keaton.
Holy crap, I just kissed Keaton Stromberg!

"Holy fudge cakes. Jessica, I just kissed Keaton," I say as I storm into Jessica's apartment. Wait, is that Wesley on top of her? We're the making out? Uh, what did I miss?
"Hey, CeeCee."
"Uh, hi, Jess."
"So, you just kissed my lil' bro, ehh?"
"Yeah, and I walked away after I did."
"Ugh, Claire. Don't you like him?"
"I already told you I do, Jess."
"Then why did you walk away?"
"I don't know. I was just shocked."
Wesley got up and says,"Well, I'm going to go talk to him. Later, babe."
"So, why was Wesley making out with you on the couch and why did he just called you babe?
"We're kinda going out..."
"WHAT? AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!"
"Um, sorry?"
"So, how did it happen?" I ask smiling for my best friend and her new found relationship.
