She grabbed my wrist and literally dragged me from the hallway into an empty classroom before pushing me up against the wall, despite the fact that her hand was around my throat, I oddly didn't feel afraid, actually I felt safer than if I was a small boy hiding in the arms of his mother. And also, not going to lie,it low key turned me on.

"How?" She whispered in the most agonized voice I had ever heard. Her glittering green eyes searched mine, I couldn't say what they were looking for, but she must have found it as she let me go. I was a little disappointed. "I'm not going to reject you as my mate, but it would be wise if you stayed far, far away from me, I am not a good person." Those words broke my heart a little, so I hesitantly stepped forward, just a little closer to her,and I practically breathed out, "This is so fucking cool." Her eyes went wide and I squinted mine closed. "Oh my god, I am so sorry, I did not mean to say that out loud. Please don't think I'm weird or anything remotely like that, oh hey, would you look at that, we are late for class." I started to babble, even though we were in fact, late for class, I could have stayed in this little room with just her for the next four years and still wouldn't have been able to get over the fact that she was meant to love me. Despite having just met her, and although I knew that it was the soulmate in me acting out, but I already knew that I was going to love her, but only if she let me, even so I probably would have been content to love her from afar. She stood a moment longer staring at my face, before taking her time to actually rake her eyes up and down my body,it made butterflies erupt in my stomach. Oh god, I sound like a girl. She leaned in closer, backing me up against the wall, not that I really minded, and gave me a small smirk before she said "I'm warning you that I am dangerous and that you should stay away, but I don't think I want you too, call me selfish, but you, are mine." She winked once before walking out of the room, leaving behind the scent of cookies.

I stayed in the room a moment longer to catch my breath before following out behind her and heading to my first class in a daze. When I arrived, the teacher, Mr. Briar, was asleep at his desk and everyone was just goofing off, except for most of the wolves, they were on edge. Some of the tension in their bodies relaxed as my scent finally caught their attention, the alpha, Dean, and my best bud, Kai, rushed towards me and immediately began to bombard me with questions. "What did she say? Are you okay? Where have you been? What did she want? What did you do? Why did you go with her?" I smirked a little and said, "Ladies, ladies you may all have a piece of The Bailman, but first, you must stop talking like some headless chickens and ask these questions onnnnneee, at a time."

I'd reached my desk by now, and Dean practically had steam coming out of his ears, as Kai deadpanned "How the hell will a headless chicken talk?" "How would I know, I thought that was you two baboons job. And the only thing that I will tell you is this, she is my wife."They looked at me for a moment before scaring the shit out of me with Dean's booming laughter. It was horrifying to see such a dignified and arrogant stone cold alpha such as himself laughing. It then dawned on me what they were laughing about. "Hey, I'm being serious here, I am her mate, she is mine, and we are going to live happily ever after thank you very much." "Aww, well sorry to crush your bubble, but she is off limits until she learns to control all that power." Dean said. "But she's not even a werewolf, let alone part of the pack, and neither am I really, I'm human and she's a dragon, so why should we listen to you?" Kai rolled his eyes. "First of all, you are both part of the pack, and second of all, Dean's parents made a promise to hers many years ago when the prophecy resurfaced close to the day of her birth, we'll explain everything to you when we get back home, okay? Just promise to stay away from her, or at least try to? She is dangerous Bail, and as your best bud, I strongly suggest staying clear of her, at least for now."

I knew she was dangerous, but I didn't have it in me to care. All I could think about was the fear in her eyes when she realized I was her mate. "I'm sorry Kaito, I can't promise you that, she is my soulmate, and I don't intend to let that just slide." He knew I was being one hundred percent serious because I only called him by his full name when I was either mad, sad, or just straight serious. He nodded solemnly and turned back to face the front of the room. I released a breath that I didn't realize I'd been holding
