21. Cat fur and a pretty huge problem

I started to laugh as I noticed what happened.

The cat, who was actually Herobrine, hissed at me, his tail twitching.

I don't know why, but it just looked so adorable and funny at he same time.

"God, Hero! What happened?", I laughed and wrapped my hands around his body.

I carefully lifted him up and softly stroke over his fur while he was sitting in my arms.

He struggled to get down but that was impossible since he didn't want to scratch me.

After a few moments he stopped and just sat on my arms.

With a soft smile I heard a quiet purr. He did enjoy it.

I carefully carried him over to Xalphire and Alex.

Both were pretty confused when I came over to them with the Herobrine-Cat.

As Herobrine saw Alex he instantly hissed at her and backed up into my chest.

"Is that Hero...?", Xalphire asked carefully.

I nodded. "Yep. He turned into a cat."

Xalphire came to me and looked directly at the cat which looked at the hybrid with big eyes.

Even Alex came over and looked. Hero burried himself into my chest.

I chuckled softly and stroke over his back.

"We should get going. Alex, you have to go for now. I don't want Hero to freak out some more. He has enough problems already.", Xalphire demanded.

Alex nodded and went away.

(A few hours later)
We finally arrived at the HQ. Herobrine was asleep in my arms and purred softly.

Xalphire smiled at me and knocked on the door.

A few moments later (y/n) appeared there and let them in.

As she saw the cat, she instantly weezed and woke him up.

"What's the cat's name?", she asked.

I chuckled softly. "Herobrine."

(Y/n) tilted her head in confusion. Then she recognized who I was.

"NIGHTMARE!!!", she yelled and pulled out a sword.

Herobrine woke up and raised his head, slightly growling at (y/n).

She instantly stopped and looked at him. Her eyes showed that she was confused.

Xalphire had also pulled out her sword but she calmly said: "Nightmare isn't evil anymore. He got betrayed by Hollow which Hero noticed and together we saved him. Now he's on our side and he wants to help us."

"Where is Herobrine?", Notch asked quietly.

He looked way worse than expected. His brown eyes were dull and red, probably from crying too much. He didn't look as strong anymore and his clothes were dirty.

I just stroke over Hero's fur to calm him a little bit down. "Here he is."

(Y/n) eyes widened and she noticed what happened.

"No. Way. HE TURNED INTO A CAT?!?!"

Steve chuckled softly, came over to us and petted Hero's head.

"How did that happen?", Notch asked confused.

I shrugged and started to tell them what happened on the way.
