Excuses Are Useless (Ben bruce fanfic)

Surprise?

"You look wonderful" smiled my mum as she lightly took my hand and lead me down the soft carpeted stairs

I blushed nervously. God why do I blush so much?

We decided to take my car, a 2013 Chrysler.
Not gonna lie we're pretty damn rich.
We don't have a huge house or anything but we have nice things.
I climbed in the drivers seat an pit on my bring me the horizon sempiternal album.

Mum directed me to a pretty outdoor restaurant and we went inside.

"Winchester party?" My mum smiled at the woman working at the desk.
"This way miss" smiled the woman

She led us out to the garden and seated us at a large table.

My mum smiled and tipped her after she gave us our menus.
"I have to use the restroom" I smile awkwardly
Mum nodded and I strolled away.

I dabbed my face with a wet paper towel. I hate being in public.
I took one of my anxiety pills from my bottle and swallowed it with a handful of water.

As I left the bathroom I noticed five men had joined our table.
The man who was seated next to my empty seat turned towards the toilet.

Ben! He grinned and waved
The rest of them turned to face me. All of asking alexandria.
My face contorted into an uncomfortable smile. I swear if I was an anime character I'd have steam coming from the top of my head. I ran back to the toilet and took three more anxiety pills before I slapped myself in the face.

After a few minutes I slowly peered out of the toilets.
Ben and danny weren't there anymore

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as I stepped out of the toilet. It was all fine until I walked into someone

"Sorry" I mumbled as I looked at the floor
"It's alright love" chuckled a very familiar voice.
I slowly looked up
First black vans, then black skinny jeans, then tattooed arms partly covered by a white button up shirt, then his face.

I turned bright red
"You know, you might see better if you opened your eyes" he laughed awkwardly

Dammit Morgan. Speak.
My eyes snapped back to the floor as I tugged at the bottom of my dress.

"Don't I get a hu-" ben began
With that I had wrapped my arms tight around him
He lifted me effortlessly in the air and spun me around

Calm washed over me as he set my dizzy body on the ground.

"I missed you!" I grinned
"I missed you too, little one" ben patted me on the head
"Ben I'm an adult now Thankyou very much" I joked
"A very small adult" he laughed

I'm not actually that short. I'm like 5"6

"Shush you" I laughed

"There was a fucker in there with cologne and he tried to dry my hands" Danny shouted as he strolled out of the men's toilet

"Little Morgan!" Danny suddenly shouted
He too spun me around. I loved Danny. He was always getting me in trouble when I was a kid.

"I missed you guys" I sighed as we walked back to the table.

We ate a nice lunch, I ha a chicken and pasta meal as it was lovely.

"I think I know what I have to do" ben grinned
Before I could speak he had grabbed my hand and dragged me from my seat.

"Where are we going" I questioned as I poked his tattooed arm
"The bar m'lady" ben chuckled
"Uh I've never had alcohol before?" I laughed nervously

Ben stopped and spun me around to face him.

"You're telling me mischievous, rebel Morgan has NEVER had alcohol?" He pulled a horrified face
I blushed and shook my head
"What were you doing your whole teenage life?????" He asked
"Uh internet?" I admitted
"Fuck me we have to get you something strong" he laughed as he shook his head
He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the bar.

Ben ordered a few drinks I've never heard of and ordered me to sip each of them

They were surprisingly fruity

After a while we joined the rest of the group and headed back to my house.
