Chapter 8

Revelation

“Comrades cover me! I'm reloading” Vatutin yells as Paul’s body camera panned out, even though it’s night tracers can be seen on the N.V gear. Then the hostiles soon dropped dead trying to advance on their position and a distinct sound of HK417 can be heard in the background until a familiar sound they recognize immediately a Jaeger and its deadly particle sniper rifle. He takes cover and saw a figure at a building at the end of the street; He aims at the windows and yells at them

“Vatutin, Suppressive fire on the building at the end of the street and third floor jaeger” He directs the position and fires at the window while Vatutin lay down suppressive fire until it was silent. Vatutin looks up at Ross position and seen giving him thumbs up until an explosion engulf Ross position and collapses immediately while then he threw a smoke grenade and falls back seeing Vatutin desperately runs towards the rubble while he checks their six while Vatutin tries to dig through the rubble. Wanting to help he rushes towards the rubble

“Vatutin let me-“He immediately saw Vatutin frozen holding a piece of hand until they hear a voice. A cold voice they recognize in audio recordings. The camera focuses on a figure but the darkness can’t see the face clearly only the eyes… It was Agent

“Humans are such pathetic creatures! You have to worry for the others even though you’re in danger” Agent with her Particle cannon still smoking, Paul was about to aim at Agent while Vatutin in anger opens fire raining bullets but Agent suddenly sprints to Vatutin in such  inhuman speed grabbing him in the neck choking him and dropping his gun. Paul could only watch in horror as he tries to find a clear shot but the dust obstructed his line of sight

He can only hear Vatutin cursing and trying to grasp for, he saw Vatutin taking out his Makarov and shot her numerous times in the torso but it seems it didn’t penetrate due of armor. When suddenly Agent stabs him only using her hands though Vatutin wears the heavy armor it just pierced him like a hot knife in butter, she throws the body near at his position

“Tsk! Now my arm is dirty, this insect just don’t want to stop” Agent wipes of the blood and Paul who listened to what she said angrily shoots him

“You sick bastard! They’re not insects they’re my friends!” Paul fires his gun wildly only to be run out of ammo and didn’t have time to switch mags, he switched to his M9 Beretta aiming at her head he fires at her until Agent broke to two a metal pole and stabbed him in his chest, she continually push him until the pole penetrated his back and the wall behind him. He felt an intense pain that anyone felt it may want to die immediately but to him it was painful that no one could describe it. He vomited blood and grasp for air trying to fight for every inch of his life

“This will do it; freaking insects they make a lot of mess when you’re killing them” Agent walks away but Paul still breathing muster up all his strength and yells at her

“The SOD will never stop finding you bitch!” Paul aims at her and fires his gun only grazing her face and the second pole striking at the camera which the recording stopped

Mark and few intelligence officers could only stare at the screen then Mark gave a heavy sigh while the officers standing and shaken from what they saw

“So… what in the hell, our men crossed paths with Agent!?” Mark ask the officers as they regain their composure

“We believe that she is doing a reconnaissance mission and we also believe that Agent from the video is not the real one… They just encounter her dummy and she didn’t expect them and so are we” the officer voice was coerce having seen the video makes the officers uncomfortable

“I think Agent was planning to attack S05 to test their defenses which was confirm on an attack at the border at S05 where we confirm Agent reappeared but no confirmation if she is the real one or dummy one” One of the officer gave him a file  

“Call P7 and give these men a decent burial… Dismissed” The officers left the room when CQBR entered the room along with a hooded Tdoll

“KS 23 at your service… Sir Can you please tell me the details of the fight” KS 23 waited for his response

“…He fought hard and bravely, didn’t left any of his teammates and stayed till the end”

“I see… he’s always like that even at the army, thanks for bringing him home Sir” KS 23 saluted and left the room where some tdolls are waiting for her

“The reason why KS 23 joined us because Vatutin served alongside with her during his stay at the army, after he retired he joined us and KS 23 followed suit” Mark stamps the file of Vatutin marking as K.I.A. and puts it back to the shelves

“Do you think she will be alright?” CQBR worriedly asks him

“Maybe… but it will affect her performance so I want you to accompany her and bring her to SAA’s place maybe it will help for a moment… also observe her, we don’t want a homicidal Tdoll on our side” Mark gives him the key of his vehicle to her

“Will do and take care Mark” CQBR kisses him on the cheek and giggles

“And that’s a good luck from your caring childhood friend CQBR and don’t let the stress eat you up” CQBR left the room leaving him bewildered

“Thanks as always…Now Ross how will I explain this to M21 and for you Paul, your family will not like this” Mark muttered as he seated and starts to write letters unknowingly to him somewhere a tdoll wakes up and grunted in pain

“That girl always kill my dummies… but know I know how to fight her” The tdoll stretches her back and puts her sidearm at the table when the Hologram of Judge appears

“This is Judge, Mia what’s your status?“

“I'm okay, those dummy feeds gave me a headache it seems they keep up stumbling to the grim reaper aside from that I'm planning a next move”

“We can send any personnel but please can you command a single sector instead of going to different sectors?”

“Nah don’t need an actual base of operations, you know my tactic I prefer guerilla warfare and switching different locations makes me hard to be detected am I right” Mia chuckles making Judge sigh

“Your right but still I don’t trust your plan linking up and helping out some rouge humans”

“Why not, were just using these people to distract them, attack them since every engagement they moved their forces to contain them not us thus giving us time to develop these weapons  and you should thank me”

“Still, you know the plan Mia we need time and it’s different when we lose the four ringleaders, everything has changed because of that man”

“Yeah yeah I know and can you say hello to Agent once she wakes up bye” The call ended and she starts to laugh

“I’m getting addicted to this, bring it on Humans! You don’t know what will hit you” Mia laughs until two of the Ripper appeared behind her and she shot one of the ripper

“Opps!  Sorry about that can’t still get it out on my head and what’s the reason why are you here” Ignoring the dead companion the Ripper makes a report

“We have finish building the temporary base and waiting for your orders”

“Rest, recuperate and wait for my orders. Grab your companion to the nearest repair station understood”

“Understood” The ripper carry her dead companion as Mia picks up her Sniper rifle caressing it

“Mark… Next time I will kill you and everything you hold dear” Mia smirks looking at Helian’s picture and CQBR’s picture
