CYRUS POV

I went to the movies with my parents after school because my stepdad, Todd, wanted to watch a movie and mum thought it would be a nice family outing. As we were leaving, Todd needed to go to the toilet so me and my mum waited for him. As I looked around I saw Tj walking towards me.
"Where you waiting for me?" He smirked
"No I'm waiting for my stepdad."
"Dude, I'm sorry. How's your dad taking it?" He put his hand on my shoulder and I felt relaxed.
"Well my dad and stepmum have been married for almost 10 years now so..."
"Woah." He cut in"Cy, you have 4 parents?"
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Huh. Well that sounds like 2 birthdays to me!" We both laughed. "At least you have your dad. Mine ran off when mum told him she was pregnant with me and Amber."
"I'm sorry Tj." Then I put my hand on his shoulder."Who's Amber?"I asked
"My twin sister."he explained.
Over at the women's, a girl was looking around and, upon seeing him, crept up behind Tj. She didn't look anything like Tj so this couldn't have been Amber. She had brown skin and black curly hair like Buffy. As she got closer she pounced on Tj's back and put her hands over his eyes.
"Guess who?" She giggled. Tj made a fake pondering face and said "Hmm." As he did, the girl's smile changed to a look of disgust as she looked me up and down. Then ,as she looked back at Tj, her face turned back to a smile. I didn't like this girl.
"Is it my girlfriend?" My heart sank to the floor as Tj got her off his back and turned around. She jumped into his arms.
"Babe, have you met Cyrus yet?"
'Of course I've heard of Cyrus! I am Cyrus! Oh wait...'
"No," she said "but I heard he's new at school."
"Well then," he began " Babe, this is Cyrus." He motioned to me "Cyrus, this is my girlfriend. Kira"
