"Abe, about what Kishou said the other day. Why not you stay over at my place for the time being? It's safer and it is also close to the company." Fukushima suggested and even though it sounds tempting, Abe rejected his offer. "I don't want to trouble Fukushima-kun." He muttered as he looked down. "You aren't troubling me at all. I'd rather you be safe than staying at that apartment of yours to be honest." Fukushima sighed as he looked at his food.
They have been going to the pet cafe for four consecutive weekends that even the staff and regular customers there knows them and Mojo. Apparently, Fukushima and Abe are the main topic of their gossips, speculating whether they are dating or even married to each other. Once they are done with their food and drinks, Abe went with Mojo to play with the dogs and cats. "Mojo.. What should i do?" He sighed while stroking Mojo's fur, deep in thought.
"I think.. I like Fukushima-kun. But.. What should i do? I really don't want to ruin our friendship." He mumbled. "He said he only wants my company. So.. If i start developing weird feelings for him, does it mean he doesn't want to be with me anymore?" Abe mumbled. "I don't want that." He said softly as he felt fear creeping inside of him at the thought of being without Fukushima. Without his warmth. Without his protective aura. "Why not just tell it straight to my face?" Fukushima said softly as he slowly embraced Abe from the back, not minding that others are in the store. Because right now, in his eyes, there is only him, Abe and Mojo.
"F-Fu-Fukushima-kun?!" Abe exclaimed softly. "G-gomen.. Did you hear that?" He asked, internally beating himself up for his habit of speaking his thoughts aloud. "You don't have to apologize." Fukushima chuckled and turned him around, making Abe face him. "Sorry.. For having weird feelings for you." He muttered. "I don't even know what that feeling is." He said as his eyes became teary, not wanting to ruin whatever friendship he have with Fukushima. Fukushima sighed and looked at Abe.
"Do you understand what i meant by 'your company'?" He asked. "Friendship?" Abe replied while cocking his head slightly to a side. Fukushima chuckle softly at his cute reaction. "No. What i meant by that is.. I want to be with you through thick and thin. I want to always be by your side Abe." Fukushima said and Abe's eyes widened slightly from the shock. "I love you. Ever since the day you opened up to us, even a little. And i have been attracted to you ever since you started to rely on me more than the others. I have never stopped loving you even after you rejected me." Fukushima said while looking into Abe's eyes with sincerity.
"I love you Abe Yuto. Will you go out with me?" Fukushima confessed once more and Abe started tearing up as he sobbed silently, as if all the worries he had before vanished and a wave of relieve took over. Fukushima smiled and hugged Abe tightly, letting him cry into his chest. "Is that a yes?" He asked once Abe has calmed down and Abe nodded his head as he wiped away the last few tears. Fukushima smiled and kissed his cheek. "Abe. There is one thing i want you to promise me though." Fukushima said in a serious tone and the facial expression he has on makes Abe wants to obey immediately.
"I want you to promise me.. Never to hold back on whatever you want or need. I want you to tell me what's on your mind. I want to be able to support you. So, please stop holding yourself back." Fukushima ended as he gave Abe a warm smile. Abe bit his lips as his mind started splitting into two. A part of him wants to promise Fukushima but the other part of him does not want to be a burden and a bother to him. "I know it's hard but.. Take it slow, alright? I'll always be here with you." Fukushima said as he caressed Abe's hand and Abe slowly nodded, agreeing to Fukushima's promise.
Fukushima smiled and hugged Abe tightly. "Ah. Then.. Can i call you by your given name?" Fukushima asked. Even though he knew, he wants Abe to personally tell him. "I-it's Yuto." Abe answered and Fukushima smiled. "Heh~ Your name really suits you." Fukushima chuckled and Abe blushed brightly. "And you can call me Ichiyou." Fukushima smiled and Abe looked at him. "Your name.. Really suits you too." Abe muttered and Fukushima chuckled.
"You think so? But to me, you are the only light i need in my life." Fukushima smiled and leaned towards Abe, slightly lifting his face by the chin and gave him a kiss on the lips, shocking Abe, but he soon closed his eyes, letting Fukushima take the lead. After awhile, Fukushima released Abe and Abe had to gather every strength he has inside of him to not let out a disappointed whine when the softness of Fukushima's lips disappeared from his own. Abe then blushed brightly and tried to hide his blushing face from Fukushima as he could feel his face heating up. "I-i'm going to the restroom." Abe said and quickly left for the restroom. Fukushima chuckled and after gathering all of their things, he carried Mojo out of the cafe to wait for Abe.
