The Apology

Jonah P.O.V
I walked towards her and took another deep breath preparing myself. I had no idea what to expect out of this.
Zara: what are you doing here?
Jonah: I wanna talk to you
Zara: about?
Jonah: what happened the other night
Zara: o-okay
Jonah: my god where do I start?
She looked at me with this sympathetic look that I've never seen before. It hit me hard and I felt different.
Jonah: I-I know you saw what happened between me and Alyssa and I just wanted to say-
Zara: you're sorry?
I nodded.
Zara: Jonah I appreciate it, but you're only sorry you got caught
I didn't say anything to her.
Zara: if you would've never found out that I knew, you wouldn't be here right now
Jonah: Zara I didn't even remember what I did until you brought it up
Zara: and that's the sad part. If I would've kept my mouth shut you wouldn't be sorry for anything
Jonah: Zara please listen I really am truly sorry. I was wasted completely wasted. What we did meant absolutely nothing to me I swear
Zara: everything I said to you, everything I did for you, did that mean anything?
Jonah: yes it did I promise
Zara: I don't want you to promise me anything. The last time you promised me or the guys anything you broke it
Jonah: I know and I'm trying to fix that. I've messed up a lot and I'm not proud of it and I feel out of everyone it affected you
Zara: yeah it did, glad you know that
Jonah: I didn't want it and up this way. I didn't think this would happen
Zara: well it did
Jonah: I don't know what else you want me to say
Zara: Jonah I don't know what you want me to say. You come here telling me all these things like you want me to tell you something and I don't know what you want me to tell you
Jonah: I WANT YOU TO TELL ME WHAT EVERYONE'S BEEN TRYING TO TELL ME

I didn't mean to snap like that, but I did. I wanna know what's so dang obvious that everyone sees but me.
Zara: w-what?
Jonah: after you left this morning, Zach said that I don't care about how you feel. So I asked him what he meant. He said that you would tell me and when I asked why he couldn't tell me he said that he'd been trying to, that everyone's been trying to
Her face completely changed as she looked down. She looked like she was about to cry.
Zara: that's cause they have
Jonah: well what is it?
She didn't say anything and I heard her start to sob.
Jonah: hey it's okay you can tell me anything
She just turned away and walked upstairs.
Jonah: Zara
I watched as I heard the footsteps fade and she was already upstairs. I walked upstairs looking for her and found her in her room...
