Germany stared out at the rain from the window, it was mid-August and it was getting colder every day and the rainy seasons had started, as soon as summer ended. Everyone in the house was petty much busy doing something. While Germany proceeded to stare out the window,  Japan and I were chilling on the couch playing video games and upstairs Canada and Russia studying.

"It finally started raining. Took it long enough"  he muttered out a few words to himself, "So when are you two planning to take a rest from the game? it's been two hours."He turned around impatiently waiting for a response.

Japan nudged my arm, her eyes still on the game trying to distract me to give her an opening to win, "Meri お願いします (please), give mercy for the controller's buttons, you kick knocked my character fifteen times, you've been repeating that same move over and over, can't you just..you know, not do that?!"

We all were sitting in the living room, lights turned off and the only light source was coming from the tv and the open door to the hallway.

"Your mistake for teaching me that move, hehe-" I giggled and nudged her back on the arm. "Hey, Germs how do you feel about potato casserole for a snack or just dinner. I can already feel my stomach calling for food to devour."

I kept my eyes on the game and shoved Japan a little to her side with my weight to make her look away but she still kept her eyes fixed and pushed me away with her free hand

"Oh, I love food that has potatoes, potatoes are life!" Finally, Japan threw her hands in the air with the controller in her hand leaving off the game and yelled out, "POTATOES!" but still managed to win the battle.

"I'm just happy you two can rest from the game for a bit, let's go the kitchen then. I know your good at cooking Ame, so I hope you're making them instead of ordering from outside"

"Eheh." I laughed, "did you forget who's up there?" I pointed up with my left hand, the controller still on the right

"God? What does he have to do with it.." Japan looked over questioning us. "Oh, wait-"

"I'm sure I got time to cook it up.." I stood up, left the controller where it was and turned on the light and stepped out the door, Germany and Japan going along "and maybe I'll invite him to the table to eat with us-..."

Suddenly I heard the door opening upstairs, "Oh no!"

"大野! (Oh no) .. I dropped my keys.

"Ich brauche das Badezimmer" (I need the bathroom) "I'll be back real quick!"

I had a good long 2 hours with Canada in his room tutoring me and it was not easy to focus on the study. His room was so red and white with pretty things here and there, though later, of course, I got yelled at for not focusing, can't blame me, the room was brighter than my future. After a few scolds I had to look down at the papers and solve those god damn problems, I should admit though, it got much easier to learn, I understood a lot of stuff I couldn't get the answers to.

As soon as finishing up all the tutoring, I thanked Canada for the help, strangely getting a thank you back? I got all the papers and books along with the homework Canada gave to take home, I stood up to leave. It was almost eight and the next day was the trip, we should wake up early at 7 am and I didn't even get to go home to pick up my fishing rod. Maybe I shouldn't even go...

"Thanks again and it's okay I can let myself out. the door is right down the stairs"

I said so but Canada was way too kind of a person so he stood up as well and walked me to the door out of his room.
