Protective Dad Mode.

      We were like that for a while, it was calmly almost. It was not fully calming because I knew Logan and Patton were awake, and that Patton was waiting to know what happened. As we broke apart I smiled faintly.

      "Let's go to sleep, Romano," I sighed.

      "Ok Emo Nightmare," Roman teases playfully. I rolled my eyes and laughed softly, as to not wake Patton and Logan up if they were asleep. Roman crawled over next to me and got under the covers. He faced me as I payed back down and looked over to him.

      "Night Ro." I sighed as I fell asleep.

      "Night love." Roman smiled as he fell asleep with his arm around my waist. I nuzzled my face into his chest. I heard a soft click from across the room and knew it was Logan, Patton would have been squealing. Let's just say that Patton would have a extra thing added to his Christmas present.

      No! The word racing around my head as my best friend of nine years got taken away from me by a car. If I had just gotten there quick enough it would have been me instead of him. "Why! Why! Why! Why! Why! Why couldn't it have been me instead of you!" I questioned with rage building up. There were tears streaming down my face. Patton came over to me. "It's okay kiddo, Roman wouldn't have wanted you to cry. He died as a hero!" Patton tried to cheer me up. Tears kept falling down to the earth. "If I had only gotten here quicker he would be alive and I would be in his place!" I screamed. Then there was a car coming right towards us....

      I bolted up with a cold sweat and panting. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. It was two am. I placed my phone back down and turned towards Roman. He was still asleep and trying to find something in his sleep. I sighed in relief and laid back down. It was very hot, so I threw off my black shirt. Roman put his arms around my waist. I wanted to get out of my fleece pajama pants so I swiftly took them off and let myself relax in Roman's arms. I laid there for a while thoughts racing threw my mind. Roman nuzzled closer. 'I love him so much.' I thought. There was a knock at the front door just loud enough for someone to hear. I quietly got out of Romans arms and kissed his forehead before throwing my black robe and walked downstairs. I walked to the door and before I opened the door I checked to see if my robe was tied. I opened the door and there stood a girl. She held a smile on her face when she was looking at her phone. She had long brown hair, and wore a black zipped up jacket, jeans, and black combat boots. "Hello." I greeted her. She looked up and smiled. "Hello! I'm Kelly." The girl responded, still with a plastered smile on her face. "Why are you here?" I asked, "it's two am.". "I'm here to see m friends Logan, Patton, and Roman!" She exclaimed. "Well since you know them, come in." I sighed and let her in. She walked in and sat on the couch. "So, strange boy in my friends house, who are you?" Kelly questioned. "I'm V-Virgil, I'm Patton, Logan, and Roman's roommate." I sighed. "Well nice to meet you Virgil!" Kelly exclaimed. I saw Roman walk down the stairs tiredly. "Love, what are you doing up?" Roman asked not noticing Kelly. "I had a nightmare and there was a knock at the door." I explained. "Are you gonna come back to bed?" Roman asked while walking towards me and wrapping his arms around my waist. "Not yet." I sighed, "but there's someone who says she's your and the guys friend.". "Who?" Roman asked sleepily. "A girl named Kelly." I sighed sleepily. "Hey Kelly!" Roman exclaimed. "So you finally have a prince." Kelly sighed. "Yeah, he may be an Emo Nightmare, but he's my Emo Nightmare." Roman smiled. "And Roman may be a dumb prince, but he's my dumb prince." I smirked. "I don't know if I should be offended or happy." Roman sighed. "Ya know I really thought I would be with Roman." Kelly sighed. "Sorry that I took that from you." I sighed quietly. "It's ok dude." Kelly sighed.

      After an hour of conversation I walked upstairs and decided to try to sleep. I went to my room and took off my robe. At that exact moment Roman came in. "O-Oh Sorry." Roman apologized. "It's fine, come here." I told him. He came to me. I pulled him into a kiss. It was interrupted as soon as it started, by Kelly walking in. "Hey Rom- OH MY GOSH IM SO SORRY!" Kelly screamed. Me and Roman broke apart. "Why must I not be able to get kissed!" I half screamed. Roman tried bright red. "I-I d-d-didn't mean to say t-that our l-loud." I stuttered. "You really wanted to get kissed, huh." Roman chuckled. "S-shut up!" I blushed. "I'll leave you two alone, where is Logan and Patton?" Kelly asked. "In Patton's room."I sighed. Kelly left the room and Roman pulled me into a kiss. After a few minutes we broke apart. I walked to the bed and was ready to fall asleep. "Virgil, I love you." Roman smiled. "I love you to, Roman." I smiled happily.
