HE MUST JUST BE REALLY BUSY

Richard had disappeared, when they had wrapped for the day.

Like, disappeared as in he wasn't in the trailer, none of the cast or crew had seen him (Everly had asked without making it too obvious she was looking for him. She hoped.), and she saw nothing of him the rest of the day.

The next few days were also weird.

She wouldn't exactly say that Richard was avoiding her, but he also wasn't exactly going out of his way to talk to her. Every time Everly made her way over to him, he was suddenly gone, or he made some lame excuse about having to check on his manager, and left quickly.

Everly was very confused. Both with the way Richard all of a sudden was strangely never around, and her emotions about the kissing scene they had shot. She kept replaying it in her head, and couldn't help feeling all the things she wasn't supposed to.

Everly liked Richard. She had already admitted it to both herself and Taron, so there was no denying that. She knew that it was oh so wrong, and that everything in her should be screaming against it, insisting that she should stop immediately. Having feelings for a co-star was something that could almost only go wrong. Everly knew this as well as any actor or actress in the whole world, yet she desperately clang to the hope that this situation would be different.

The scene had sparked something in her, something feral and dangerous. It had given her a feeling she couldn't wait to experience again. Everly wasn't aware what, but something had just seemed so breathtakingly right about kissing Richard.

The moment when Daniel had yelled cut, Everly had wanted to look into Richard's eyes, and see if he felt the same way. He has to feel the same way, she had thought. Everly had felt like they had the whole universe in front of them, and that they had the power to explore it. Together.

She never got to look into his eyes, though, because he had disappeared, and left Everly disappointed.

Despite Richard's quick departure, Everly couldn't imagine a reason for him to be avoiding her.

He can't possibly... No, no way he's avoiding me. He must just be really busy, she thought. I'm probably just imagining things!

And sure enough, a few days later, everything seemed back to normal. Everly saw Richard a lot more, and they were back to filming scenes together. Richard definitely didn't act like anything had happened, so Everly assured herself that it was all in her head.
