GOOD MORNING, LOVE

Everly woke up, lying comfortably in a big bed, engulfed in a pleasant warmth.

She tried to stretch, but found that she couldn't, and discovered the reason for both the warmth and her immobility. Two strong arms were wrapped around her, keeping her close to an unclothed chest.

Everly had been a bit confused, but the events of last night came rushing back to her.

She gently turned around, so she now faced Richard, who was still sleeping soundly. She spent a moment just looking at his peaceful expression.

Even though Richard wasn't stressed easily, they had both been under a lot of pressure lately, and it was relieving to see Richard look so untroubled.

As Everly lied there, she realized that she felt... happy.

Not because she usually was sad or miserable, but simply because she had gotten the best night's sleep she had had in a long time, and because she had woken up in the arms of the man she liked. She was amazed at how normal it felt, waking up in Richard's arms.

She desperately wanted to fall back asleep and enjoy it as long as she couldn't, but she knew her body wouldn't let her, so she tried waking Richard by gently running her fingers up and down his back. Everly silently appreciated the muscles she could feel, brushing her hands over every inch.

Slowly, he woke up. She was pleasantly surprised when Richard stirred and unconsciously pulled her even closer to him, making sure that they were pressed flush against each other.

"Good morning, love.", he croaked, lazily opening his eyes.

Suddenly the realness and the craziness of the situation hit Everly like a ton of bricks. She had just slept with Richard! Or well... Slept-slept with him, at least. The thought was almost enough to send her brain go haywire.

When Richard's gaze met hers, she blushed and looked down.

"Good morning." She knew she was probably smiling from ear to ear, but couldn't really get herself to stop.

Her mind flitted to the scene of the two of them, kissing on set, and Everly wanted to lean just a tiny bit forward, and kiss him again. She was working up the courage, when Richard sat up abruptly, said "I'll go make breakfast', and left to go to the kitchen.

Everly was left laying in the bed, watching his body, only clad in boxers, leave the room.

As they ate breakfast, Everly happily noticed that nothing seemed to have changed about them, or the way they interacted.

When Richard had left the bedroom, Everly had been worried that something would be different, that the atmosphere would become awkward or uncomfortable. When it didn't, she was beyond relieved.

Not really being one for confrontations, she decided not to bring up the fact that the spent the night together, and Richard didn't seem hurried to talk about it either. He didn't mention anything about it, at least.

They retrieved Everly's bag, and she left for the airport at noon. Unfortunately, Richard wouldn't be joining her, since he had to do an interview and a photoshoot the next day.
