KONOMURA:The Beginning Of The Journey

CHAPTER 2

It has been five years since the incident happened, Konomura was having a journey towards a town called Hielith. It's been a lonely road for the past five years yet she still keep going for the sake of her life. The journey took her 3 weeks and she had barely any food in her supplies. As soon she reaches the town, she saw most the building were damaged and she could not see any inhabitant. Suddenly, out of nowhere a young woman tries to attack Konomura with a giant sword that almost has the same size as her. Even though the sword was massive, the woman still can wield it and attack konomura with an immense speed. Konomura was impressed with the skill and strenght that the woman can provided but Konomura has no problem at all by keeping up with her speed. Before the incident where the temple were attacked, Konomura has been training with the monks since she arrived there. The monk were fully skilled with martial art and by far one of the strogest martial artist in the kingdom. The magic that has been transfered from the eight monks' body to Konomura's makes her even more stronger. Konomura is very strong physicaly but with the magic of the monks, it can increase her physical strength even further. That is how she is able to catch up with the woman's speed with is nothing compared to her. She is still impressed with her performance because for a woman who does not use magic, she still remarkably powerful. Her attack is harmless to Konomura but she still need to be stop. Konomura then tries to find an opening to knock her by hitting behind her kneck. With a single swing, Chizuru were knocked out easily. Most of the inhabitant came out from their hiding spot just to save the woman. Konomura explained to them that she meant no harm to the town and just trying to pass by. The woman woke up and realised that Konomura is not there to harm them because if she did, the woman would be dead. The woman greeted her and ask for pardon for her false. She were mistaken for Konomura because she thought that Konomura is one of the bandits that has immense amount of magic faculty and destroyed their town. The women told her name is Chizuru one of the remaining guardian of the town. The people were tortured alive and killed just so they can fulfil their eagerness and took their belongings. Most of the resident were scared and hide inside their teared down home. Chizuru was just trying to protect the resident from Konomura that she thought one of the bandits. In the end Konomura stayed at the town for a day and bought some food to continue her journey.
