KONOMURA:The Beginning Of The Journey

CHAPTER 4

She then woke up realising he was laying under Konomura's tent. "Your body were blazing hot while you were sleeping, I never encountered any human body that can reach that temparature before. You are really something." Konomura continues. "What happened?" Chizuru asked. "You were pushing yourself too hard until you faded out. Actually, that is a good thing because you manage to push yourself above your limit. The only thing I was concerned about was your boiling body." Konomura replied. Chizuru's body temperature was too high until the ground around her suddenly started burn into flame. Konomura carried a large amount of water using her magic ability to put out the flame and calm down Chizuru's body. The condition of Chizuru's body was mysterious but her health was just fine the next morning. They continue their journey and train like usual every morning. The incident where Chizuru's body became overheated never happened anymore since then. After a few week of walking, Konomura and Chizuru finally arrived at a small town called Morfort. The town has only a few people but there is enough stuff to buy for their journey. They stayed there for a night, the town was very quite at night because of the amount of people that lives there. After a few hour of sleeping, suddenly the ground started to shake and people screaming can be heard outside from their tent. Konomura and Chizuru quickly came out from their tent to see what is happening. From a distance, a giant bear with the size of a building rushing toward the town. "We have to stop it!" said Chizuru. "No, its you that has to stop it" Replied Konomura. "But why?". "This is the time to see if you can save your people by saving these people in this town". Chizuru trembled with Konomura's words but she is not wrong because that is the only moment where she can prove herself. Chizuru runs toward the giant bear with her tremendous speed and manage to got a slice on it's leg. She tought she manage to cut it but the bear's leg remain the same. The skin is too hard to slice trough but she does not give up and tried to slice it again. The result remain the same. The bear became more aggressive against Chizuru, she began to have a hard time against the bear. Chizuru left a big opening for the bear to claw her while she was trying to send a full swing towards the bear. The bear's claw reach the shoulder of Chizuru and leave a large scratch on it. Chizuru can feel her bones was cracking but she keeps pushing herself to swing her sword towards the bear. Suddenly Chizuru body became immensely hot and her vein started to glow bright and yellow. The ground around her started to shake and crack. She then ran towards the bear again but this time faster. Wind started to blow as soon she land her first step. Flame started to form around her while she was running towards the bear. She swung her sword towards the bear and manage to slice it and also burn it with the heat around her. She suddenly collapsed and everyone was shocked of how capable she was for defeating the enourmous bear. Konomura found out that Chizuru was capable to create flame around her as a defence so the bear would not able to touch her. Chizuru ability in creating fire is still unexplainable because she never use magic in her entire life. Some of the people came to carry Chizuru and tried to cool her body down. Chizuru health was uncertain but Konomura realised that Chizuru had became stronger than who she was when Konomura first met her. The next morning, Chizuru woke up inside a room. Konomura was sitting next to her. "What.. happened?" Chiuzuru asked. "You did it, you had proven yourself that you are capable to protect your people from that bear" Konomura replied. Chizuru smiled and went back to sleep. After few hours, Konomura and Chizuru was preparing to leave the town. Right after they step out, the townsfolk was cheering for them from outside. They were grateful for the bravery of Chizuru defeating the bear the day before. Konomura and Chizuru then continue their journey to another town.
