(I know this isn't a Chase Atlantic song, or titled chapter, but this song fits with the vibe I'm going for, and I just really love gnash as-well! So, if you haven't heard of him, or listened to his music, I'd definitely check him out :) OH! little life update, my birthday was on Saturday (September 14th) and I'm officially 19! YAY! Anyway haha, I hope you like this chapter! With that said, ENJOY!)

It's official, Christian and I are dating. Not everyone knows publicly of course, we decided not to broadcast it to his fans, which I'm happy about. I didn't want anyone getting the wrong idea about me, or be upset because they're still stuck on Alexa and Christian's relationship previously.

I couldn't be happier though, he's been incredible and we've only officially been dating for a few days, but I can safely say they've been the best few days of my entire life. I never thought one person could impact me so intensely so fast, but I should've known after this last month that Christian isn't just anyone. He's special, and I feel so lucky to call him mine.

I was sitting outside with both Mitchel and Kras, who were smoking a blunt together, sketching random things I saw from within the back yard, such as trees, birds, and small flowers in a journal that Jordan had given me.

"What're you writing about?" Mitchel asked, smoke expelling from his lips as he passed the blunt over to Christian.

"Nothing." I laughed softly, setting the pencil in the center when the papers where all the papers were bound to keep my place as I closed the journal. "Just random stuff."

I didn't feel like telling them I was actually drawing because I knew they'd want to see it, and I wasn't really willing to show them my shitty art.

"Babeeeee." Christian whined, his voice deepening as he exhaled smoke, "You're so far awayyyyyyyy!"

I giggled, shaking my head at him.

I was sitting in the grass, a mere five feet away from them both. I just felt like being one with nature while I wrote.

"I'm not that far away." I giggled softly, "I could be half-way across the world." I stated, putting it in perspective for him.

I watched as Christian rolled his eyes, taking another long drag from the burning substance before passing it back over to Mitchel.

"Smart ass." He muttered, letting out a sigh as he sank farther down into his chair.

I smiled, shaking my head as I opened the journal again, picking up the pencil before turning the page to a new blank one.

I looked up, scanning the yard for something to draw; My eyes fell on Mitchel and Kras whose attention was on one another, laughing about something one of them had said; Mitchel held the blunt between his fingers, braids falling in front of his face as he held a bright smile, head tilted back as laughter erupted from him. Christian's arms were resting on his knees, leaning forwards. His hair framing his face, head turned towards Mitchel with an electrifying smile plastered on his face as he laughed loudly. They were both so unaware of the world around them, and it was rather breathtakingly beautiful to see them in such a raw state; so happy and carefree, laughing and enjoying one another's company. Their connection was absolutely beautiful to witness.

I smiled at the sight, deciding I wanted to capture the moment the best I could.

My eyes glanced up from them and the paper beneath me as I sketched the sight quickly, wanting to get at least enough of a rough draft of them in the moment so that later I could tweak and perfect it more precisely.

Growing up, I had always been in love with art. I would paint and sketch at home, in class, anywhere I could. I had such a passion for art, it brought me so much joy and freedom during times I had none. It allowed me to express myself at times words weren't able, but once Ashton and I had broken up, that passion slowly seemed to drift away into the void of nothingness along with all other feeling until nothing was left at all but a shell of a girl who once felt whole.
