(WELCOME BACK! sorry, I took a little break due to school but we're back to our regularly scheduled story! This chapter lines up with the song/edit it's titled after, more so at the end and I'll just add that in when necessary, but as you read until then, please enjoy listening to the lofi playlist I listened to while writing! It's in Christian's POV and it's a flashback to the past! As always, I'll provide a break when it's back to the present! It'll get a little intense, and I'd like to state that this is all PURE FICTION. NOTHING SAID OR PERSON(S) REPRESENTED ARE BY ANY MEANS AUTHENTIC, so without further ado, ENJOY!)

I was sitting in my girlfriends apartment. We were supposed to hang out tonight, but as of recent she's decided hanging out with her friends was more important.

The time was currently 1.A.M. damn. A new record.

I was annoyed because I was going on tour pretty soon, and I wanted to spend as much time with her as I could before I left. Guess it didn't mean that much to her though.

I let out a soft sigh as I shut my phone off, giving up on checking the time.

She'd get home when she felt like it I guess.

I was sitting on her couch, and my eyes were getting heavy.

I decided it was best to get a little shut eye while I waited for her to return; Within a blink of an eye I was fast asleep.

"KRASSSSSS!" I heard my beloved girlfriends voice sing as the door slammed shut.

My eyes shot open, panic consuming my body.

How long had I been asleep?

I grabbed my phone quickly, checking the time to see that it was now 3 A.M.

"Hi baby." My girlfriend Alexa greeted as she took a seat on the couch beside me.

She reeked of cheap liquor and marijuana; She'd been out partying all night long, and she hadn't even bothered inviting me. Typical.

"Sorry I'm late baby," I noticed the way she slurred her words, trying her absolute best to maintain a steady composure as to not upset me, but I already knew what trouble she had been getting into without a single spoken word. "The girls didn't want to leave the bar."

I rolled my eyes.

All she did was lie about what she was doing lately. It's not as if I'd be upset if she just said, "Sorry babe, I went out to a party tonight and got way too cross faded and lost track of time having fun without you." No.

I mean, yes I'd be a little upset that there wasn't even an invitation for me to join her, but I'd much rather her be straight up with me rather than lie.

I knew she was lying because Alexa doesn't smoke. Not unless she's out partying in an environment where everyone else is.

"You smell like weed." I stated, not wanting to tip-toe around the bush any further.

I watched as Alexa's eyes grew wide, realizing she had been caught within her lie.

"Oh uh," She stammered, "One of the girls were smoking in the car on the way back, sorry about that babe." She lied again.

I knew she was high.

I didn't feel like arguing with her though. Seemed like all we did lately was bicker over this and that. So I let it go.

"Alright." I sighed, shaking my head as I stood, grabbing my jacket from off the couch along with the keys to the car the boys and I shared.
