The next day me and Anna got of the school bus and off to the stables we went. It was a lot busier today and the arena looked full. When we got in sherry came to greet us and assigned us the horses we had to ride. Sherry asked me if I had a minute to talk so I followed her into the feed room.
"I think Nevada would be a great addition to our lesson program. Everyone loves him already and when I turned him out this morning I got to see how beautiful his gaits were!"
"Well to be honest I haven't even ridden him yet so I'm not sure what he's like and if he'd be suitable for a lesson program"
"Well why don't you go take him up and we will find out!"
We grabbed all his new expensive tack and placed it in front of his stall. I brought him out and started to brush. Anna already had bunny out, she was a cute little welsh pony x quarter horse. She was a beautiful smokey buckskin colour. Once nevada was all brushed I started to tack up. Sherry came back from going to see her horses and said we are going to the arena that is used for clinics because it was empty. She yelled for me to go ahead and she would be there soon. I finally found the arena and got on and started walking around when 3 girls came in. They looked around my age but much taller than me.
The first girl shouted "your not aloud to be in here! It's for clinics only!"
I stopped Nevada and replied "sherry told me I could, I'm riding a new horse"
"Well your new horse is ugly. This isn't a barn for mules! And why would sherry be talking to you? By the looks of what your wearing you can't afford her!"
The other two girls started to laugh. I looked down ashamed and just then sherry walked in.
"Ashley, Lilly and Stacey what are you girls doing in here?"
"We were just telling this confused strange girl she can't be in here."
"Well thank you Ashley but I asked Ali to come in here so we could work with Nevada"
"Shouldn't you be looking for warmbloods? not ugly little quarter horses?"
"Thank you Ashley but I can take care of this"
The other girls stormed out with their fancy horses.
"Is there anything wrong with my clothes?" I asked sherry
