I stood still in Scott's office... I just sat against the wall, wondering what I'd do once I get out of this forsaken facility. Scott's skinny body was lying there, with me staring at it. I couldn't stop thinking about everything that just happened. But just a few seconds of catching my breath later, I heard shuffling outside the office door. I looked up at the small window, but I didn't see anyone or anything. I heard it going down the hallway swiftly, I didn't want to have to deal with anyone else to kill, but I didn't need any more potential trouble on my plate either.
I sighed, and with my strength somewhat back, I stood up to check it out. I noticed a small puddle of my blood on the floor. I could hear a tiny trickle of it when I stood up. I opened the door, and I saw for just half a second someone running around the corner at the end of the hall. I quickly stormed and followed the sounds of faint footsteps. I could barely hear them, but it was just loud enough for me to follow.
I walked down the hallway, with the soft crackling sounds of a small fire from when I caused an explosion. It smelled like gross ashes. I simply ignored it and continued my way around the corner, after a few seconds of walking down there, and wondering what it was. Or WHO it was, the footsteps stopped. I thought they hid, but if they were, they weren't doing a good job, because I heard a bunch of plastic and clanking sounds just after. Something must've been pushed out of the way or something, so I continued to stomp towards the sounds. It eventually led me to a pair of doors that were partially open, and at the top was a sign that read, 'Tech Room Staff Employees Only' on it. An electronic sign that dimly glowed.
I opened the doors quickly, with them hitting the walls from how forceful I was, and for a second. I heard a faint and soft gasp. I looked around, but the room was just a wide and long looking place with actual wallpaper. It looked surprisingly casual, but it was a bit darker. There were was a plentiful amount computers on each long table, but one thing that caught my eye. Was a bunch of spinning wheelie chairs that were clumped together. In the corner of the dark tech room I stared. There had to be someone there. I quickly walked over to it, not caring if I was even being loud. I pulled away the chairs, and I saw from the shadows... Some... Girl.
She had her arms crossed with her face planted in them, she was shivering very slightly. Her knees scrunched with her curled up against the wall under the table. The girl steadily looked up at me while moving her arms away a bit, and her eyes told me straight away that she was terrified of me. And... Well rightfully so I guess. I didn't know why she was hiding, and why she didn't just keep running away, but without many thoughts. I grabbed her at the back of the neck suddenly. I roughly pulled her out as she yelped out, "Ah..! W-Wait..!" I didn't listen of course, and I gripped my hand around her neck, not completely choking her, but it was definitely a tight hold.
She quickly put her hands onto my arm that had her in the air, I was slowly lifting her up. She was shaking immensely, fearful out of her mind, but I didn't blame her. She said in shock,
"... I-I..! I-I'm sorry please just... L... Nng... Let me go please..!"
"... No." I said back quickly in a quiet yet intimidating tone.
"P-Please I just want to go..! I'll do anything just let go!" The girl's voice was becoming much more shaky and weak. I finally listened, and realized, that she was truly scared. She wasn't angry and scared at the same time, she was just... Scared. I had her in my literal grasp, but at the same time. Deep down in my mind, I didn't want to hurt her. So I slowly let go of her neck while lowering her down, she stood up, but her legs were shaking rapidly. To get it over with, I asked her quickly after she caught her breath and backed away.
"Fine. I need answers." She looked up at me, still in shock while her breaths were quick. Like prey being watched by a predator, and she had her hand comforting her neck. She quickly nodded. I then spoke again,
