they got gracie to the hospital but the problem every time one of the hospital staff tried to close in on Gracie to change her of take any kind of blood she would flinch and back away not letting anyone near her,
Nick and Catherine walk into the hospital to meet Jim,
"What do we got Jim?" Nick asked
"a call came in about an hour ago, a little girl walking down the highway in the dark, barefoot in her PJ's, the staff keep trying to get her clothes but she's jumpy won't let anyone near her," Jim explained
"Okay I'll give it a shot," Nick said
"What on earth was she doing on a highway in the middle of the night?" Catherine asked
"That's the million dollar question, Grissom and Sara are at the scene right now," Jim said then his phone rang
"I have to take this," He said leaving
Nick walks in the room to see the little girl looking down as she squeezed her bear,
She looked up at Nick backing up in a panic,
"It's okay easy," Nick said
"We're not going to hurt you okay," Nick said setting down his kit case
"I'm Nick Stokes and this is my good friend Catherine Willows," He said
"Hello," Catherine said smiling sweetly at the child
the little girl squeezes her bear tighter
Both CSI's see that she has trauma to her forehead abrasions on her wrists and her right ankle,
Nick takes out a Swab to see if he can collect her DNA,
Nick could see she was panicking,
"It's okay look," Nick put one in his mouth
"See it doesn't hurt, now I'm gonna take yours okay," Nick said
She nodded as Nick was taking her DNA Catherine was taking pictures of her head wrists and ankle and feet,
Once Nick was done he put the DNA Swab in his kit,
"Now my good friend Catherine here is gonna brush some of you're hair, Okay," Nick said
The little girl nodded
Catherine took a tooth pick comb getting all the dirt leaves and hair into a bag
"Now Catherine is gonna help you change, Okay," Nick said
The little girl hesitated at first,
"It's okay," Catherine said smiling at her
the little girl took Catherine's hand which had gloves on
while Catherine took off the little girl's shirt that was covered in blood and dirt when she gets the little girl's shirt off and see's bruises and a deep cut from her belly button to her left hip she made quick work taking pictures of her injuries,
then she gauzed the little girl putting a hospital gown on her bagging her clothes Catherine and the little girl walk out of the bathroom
"Nick she need's a doctor," Catherine said to Nick
She lifted the little girl's shirt showing Nick
"Hey, We need a Doctor," Nick said
