CSI Little girl lost

Ch. 6

                                                      Gracie POV

I was sitting in the office with Detective Jim eating a PB&J sandwich, 

He was sitting at his desk eating his food, Chinese  

I was holding it with both my little hands as my teddy was sitting next to me in the chair as I was sitting there, 

"Is it good?" He asked smiling at me 

I nodded and smiled back

"Now Gracie I want to ask you some things is that okay?" He asked 

I nodded 

"Now how do you know that man?" He asked 

"He took care of me until he gave me away," I said as I held my teddy 

"Gave you away?" Jim asked 

I nodded 

"He was mean, I wasn't allowed out of the room I was in," I said squeezing my teddy remembering how terrible it was, 

"It's okay Gracie you're safe," He said 

"I had a bracelet around my ankle I wasn't allowed to go far away from my bed," I said closing my eyes

I looked at Jim with worry, 

"I don't want to go back there please don't make me go back," I said 

"Don't worry as long as I'm here you're not gonna go back there," Jim said 

I nodded 

"Come on, I'm sure you're tired," Jim said picking me up
