Chapter 9

*Meanwhile after Happy flew in Search of Natsu*

Happy flew through the air trying despratly to find Natsu.

"Come on Natsu! Where are you! Lucy's in trouble!" He yelled while searching. Suddenly he saw pink hair.

"Natsu!" Happy yelled soaring to his unconscious friend.

"Natsu! Wake up!" Happy yelled shaking Natsu. At first he wouldn't wake up. But then suddenly he bolt straight up.

"Natsu what happened!" Happy yelled worried.

Remembering the fight between Devon and him he started to panic.

He jumped up and started to run. Happy followed behind him.

"We have to save Lucy! She's in danger!" Natsu yelled worried about the love of his life.

"Why what happened!" Happy asked starting to panic along side Natsu.

Natsu then explained to whole fight between Devon and him. He also explained what Devon had said to him about Lucy being killed.(chapter 7)

"Now I just need to pick up on her scent" natsu said. A few minutes went by and still natsu had nothing. When suddenly he caught a scent. Strawbery and vinillia.

"I got it!" Natsu yelled then ran following the scent.

They then came upon a cliff. Devon and Noah were leaning over the cliff looking at something. Natsu then realized something. Lucy!!!! Natsu thought running over to where the two men where standing.

He punched both men in the face, surprising them. They both stumbled back. Natsu then looked down worried about what he would find.

And there was Lucy hanging onto a tree root.

It felt like Lucy had been running for hours when she came to a cliff.

She turned around and looked. Noah and Devon have her cornered.

"Looks like the end of the line" Noah said.

"I'm not going down with out a fight" Lucy said working up a little bit of courage.

"Why don't we have some then" Noah said cracking his knuckles.

"Why don't we just kill her and get it over with. This is boring" Devon complained.

Lucy took that opportunity to try to sneak away.

"Oh no you don't" Noah said. He then took took one of his shadows and made it push Lucy off the cliff.

"Oh shit!" Noah yell running to the cliff." I wasn't done playing with her."

But Luckily Lucy caught a tree root on her way down.

A few seconds passed as Devon and Noah came closer taking there sweet old time. Then there was a pair of running foot steps comming closer. Then Devon and Noah fell to the ground.

"Lucy! I'm here to save you!" Natsu yelled leaning over the edge and grabbing Lucy's hand. Natsu swiftly pulled her up andade sure she was steady on her feet.

"Natsu. I'm out of magic" Lucy said worried.

"Don't worry Lucy I'll protect you." Natsu ssaid leading Lucy away from the cliff.

She then sat down leaned up against a tree.

"Your gonna pay for making Lucy suffer!" Nastu yelled punching Noah in the face. The impact of the hit made Noah fly into a tree 30 feet away. Natsu then ran over r to him and punched him over and over again. Natsu didn't give Noah a second to breath. Then Natsu him Noah over and over again with multiple attacks. Over a few minutes Noah went unconscious.

Natsu stood there for a minute staring at Noah. Then Natsu felt a pain in his back.

"NOOOOOOO!!!!!" Lucy yelled.

I wonder why Lucy is screaming Natsu asked himself.

Natsu then looked down to see blood soaking the front if his shirt. Then he collapsed.
