Tom.
My feet cruched against the frosty grass beneath my feet as I strolled quickly through the park, my hands clasped around a thermos flask full of coffee. My phone pinged in my pocket and I pulled it out reading the text from Max. I sighed before stuffing it back in my pocket and picking up my pace as the air grew colder and colder, turning the end of my nose red. A man jogged past me and I stared as his figure grew smaller in the distance, why is he out jogging in shorts? It's two fucking degrees?! I huffed then turned around a blind corner, smaking straight into the front of someone, a small hand grabbed at my shoulder to stop whoever it was from falling over but I slipped and landed directly on top of the person. I rolled off the person and quickly realised it was a girl, who was at that moment laying on the ground, her hair spread around her head, her blue eyes wide in shock. I got to my feet before helping her up, she blinked rapidly before speaking,
"Thanks," I let a small smile tug at my lips,
"No problem," an awkward slience settled over us, I shifted my weight and she coughed,
"So what's your name?" I asked and she smiled,
"My name's Autumn, you?"
"I'm Tom, nice to meet you Autumn," I smiled and held out my hand for her to shake, she shook then grinned, her eyes fixed on my hand,
"You play the piano," I nodded,
"You either know who I am or you're very observant," she chuckled,
"I think I might know who you are but I'm not sure, do you sing Can't Pretend?" I nodded and her smile grew wider,
"You're music is brilliant,",
"Thanks," her phone buzzed and she glanced down at her screen before looking back up at me,
"I need to get going, it was nice meeting you Tom," I smiled,
"You too Autumn."
I didn't see her for months after that, it was weird seeing her again, but somehow I did, in all the places she could of gone, everything she could've been doing, she crossed my path again.
