Tom.

When I awoke she was gone, a note scrawled is curvise handwriting that she had to go to work and would call me later. I grabbed my notebook and turned to the two Autumn verses and in a bolt of inspiration scrawled down lyrics.
Grow old with me,
Let us share what we see,
And all the best out could be,
Just you and I.

Somehow during the course of my day I found myself in a record shop, skimming through album after album of The Doors, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin, Nina Simone. Maybe I could release a vinyl once I've got an album out, that'd be cool. I quickly brought a Bob Dylan record and hurried back home. I need to get an album together.

Autumn.

"Hey! For the last time don't climb the shelves!" I shouted at the kids who quickly scurried away. God I sound like a right bitch. I thought to myself as I picked up discarded books from the study area before wheeling them away back to their respective departments. I glanced up at the clock, five-thirty thank fucking god! I quickly finished my task before signing out and grabbing my bag and heading home. As I waited for the bus I received a message,

Tom: Want to meet up? x
Me: Sure, where? x
Tom: Giraffe? It's near Belgrave Square x
Me: I know it, what time? x
Tom: 6:30? x
Me: Okay, see you there! x

I grinned down at my phone, this is so a date.

He grinned as our burgers arrived,
"These are the best burgers in London, I swear to god, they are," I chuckled before sinking my teeth into the delicacy. He started to talk to me about his idea of releasing an EP album, which I agreed with him was a pretty damn good idea. The conversation flowed like water, it was easy and fun, constant smiling and laughing and joking. A whir of happiness.
We walked out of Giraffe at eleven pm, his arm wrapped around my shoulder.
As we walked around Belgrave our conversations became a bit more serious,
"Autumn, do you ever wander what it's like to be married?" I thought for a moment, do I?
"Well I think it would be peaceful if you've married the right person, living in harmony, how about you Tom? What do you think it's like?" He paused and looked down at me, a small smile on his face,
"Well I imagine it's like this."
