Tom.
May.
I pulled the sheets over her cold feet and she grinned up at me,
"The duvet is going to make no difference," I sighed,
"I swear ice wouldn't melt on your feet," she chuckled,
"If only, if only, but seriously I need to go and no libido of yours is going to keep me from going to work," I groaned,
"Call in sick, we could go to Bournemouth for the day..." She kissed me quickly on the lips before getting out of bed,
"As lovely as that sounds I have to go, now stop looking at my ass is creepy."
"Just admiring the view." She laughed,
"Even creepier. You need to get up too, aren't you supposed to be on the radio or something this morning?"
"Yep." She pulled on her clothes before pulling the duvet off the bed,
"Leave me alone!" I groaned into my pillow,
"Come on get up,"
"A man needs his sleep!"
"You're nineteen!" She laughed,
"You're eighteen!" I retorted. I heard her sigh,
"If you get up I'll make breakfast, like an ommelate or something?"
"With bacon?"
"Yes with bacon."
"Deal."Autumn.
"Gary? Where the fuck is the ladder?" I whispered to Gary through the bookshelf,
"It's getting fixed, someone broke it yesterday." I sighed before turning back to bookshelf, staring up at the shelves above me. Bloody hell.
I grabbed hold of the shelf and pulled myself up, still struggling to try and reach the bookshelf needed. If this bookcase falls over, I'll fucking kill a bitch. I climbed again, almost! A large hand grabbed the book out of my hags and placed it on the shelf above me.
"Struggling there?" I sighed,
"Well we're not all giants." He laughed,
"I'm not a giant, you're just small."
"Shut up and help me down." His arms wrapped around my waist and lifted me away from the bookshelf and set me down on my feet. I turned around and kissed him quickly on the lips before smiling up at him,
"So Mr Odell, what are you doing here?" He grinned,
"I've got a car, I just brought my first car and now me and you are going on a trip." I smiled,
"I can't leave work early, sure tomorrow, that's my day off but I can't today."
"I asked, they're letting you out early, apparently you deserve it." I raised an eyebrow,
"You've got everything planned haven't you?" He nodded,
"Come on already, let's go!"The windows were rolled down fully and the radio was blasting out The Beatles. One of his hands the wheel, his other hand was holding mine. The sun was bright and warm, it was beautiful. I turned the radio up as Can't Pretend came on and he smiled,
"Love I have wounds only you can mend, you can mend oh oh oh," he sang, his fingers drumming against the steering wheel,
"I guess that's love, I can't pretend, I can't pretend, oh oh oh." I joined in and he squeezed my hand.
"Feel my skin is rough, but it can be cleansed, can be cleansed oh oh oh. My arms are tough but they can bent, they can be br-o-ken. And I want to fight but I can't contend! I guess that's love, I can't pretend, I can't pretend oh oh oh, oh oh oh."
"We should become a duo," I joked and he laughed,
"Oh I couldn't contend with your singing love," he joked back,
"Twenty miles to go Odell!" I pecked him on the cheek and he smiled,
"I can't wait."
