The group shuffled out of the house, MG and Hope helping Penelope move around. Josie was stood right behind them, just in case they failed to support the raven-haired girl. Alaric was leading the group. Kaleb was right beside him. Emma and Dorian were walking behind them. The other four were bringing up the rear.
They quickly made it back to the car, in about ten minutes or so. "Lizzie!" Alaric yelled.
No response.
"Lizzie!" Josie tried, despite being mad her.
Nothing.
Alaric walked over to the van and ripped open the door. He was surprised to see his daughter half naked, and Rafael with his pants unzipped. "Dad!" Lizzie screamed, an embarrassed look crossed her face.
Alaric was pissed. They were on a serious mission, and his daughter wad screwing around. Literally. "Elizabeth! What are you doing?!"
Lizzie rolled her eyes. "Well, I was about to have sex with my boyfriend. Then you and your pain-in-the-ass gang barged in."
"Hey! Don't talk to me like that ever again. Are we clear?"
Lizzie reluctantly nodded and put her clothes back on. Kaleb snickered at the two in the van.
The group put Penelope in the back of the van with room for one other person. Josie, of course, took the seat. She draped Penelope's legs over her lap, careful not to hurt the injured girl. The rest of the group maneuvered themselves in the small space, which resulted in some very awkward lap sitting. The car ride was silent and bumpy, Alaric going nearly four times the speed limit.
Josie looked at Penelope's face without even realizing it. Thankfully, the shorter girl was asleep, so she didn't notice Josie's gazing. When the brunette finally did realize what she was doing, a very deep blush crossed her face.
Hope decided to speak up. "So, Emma, you sad that Penelope was your favorite student. Care to explain?"
Emma looked at Hope, then sighed. "I've known Penelope for a very long time. I was best friends with her mom before she passed. Penelope is probably one of the best people I've ever gotten the pleasure to know. And maybe that's corny, but it's true." Lizzie scoffed. "Contrary to popular belief, she doesn't hate anyone. She always says that she does in our counseling sessions, and she constantly talks bad about people, but I know it's not true. That girl doesn't have an ounce of hate in her body. Yes Lizzie, that includes you."
Everyone was shocked, to say the least. Well, except for Josie. A small smile played on her lips. "I knew that." She said softly.
"Bullshit." Lizzie said. "There is no way in hell that she doesn't hate people. First of all, she's an ass. Second of all, she obviously hates me. She always annoys me for no reason."
Josie rolled her eyes. "Maybe that's because you keep provoking her. The second that you knew I liked her, you started being the biggest bitch to her. It's like you don't want me to be happy."
"Of course I want you to be happy. Just not with her. You're just confused." Lizzie replied.
"Confused?! Don't you dare turn this into some homophobic bullshit."
Lizzie smirked. "So what if I am? It's not like your dyke girlfriend can do anything about it."
Before Josie could reply, Lizzie abruptly passed out."It's ok." Hope said. "It's just a sleeping spell. No offense Dr. Saltzman, but sometimes a bitch needs to shut up." Hope looked at Josie. "I got you Saltzman."

#guesswhofinallyupdated
It has actually been soooooooooooo long since I posted last. School is still succeeding in kicking my ass. I was going to update yesterday, but I was a dick to my friend and I'm feeling hella guilty. Even if I did update, it would be straight up shit because my mind would be thinking about what I can do to make it up to her. Anyway, the wait was atrocious. I hate myself for that too. Oh well. At least I got this shitty chapter uploaded.✌🏻
