The next day Charity's mum called the hospital: Hello this is Mrs. Owusu-Ansah and I want to make an appointment with my daughter's specialist Receptionist: Alright! which day and time do you prefer, please? Mum: I prefer to come on the 5th of August please... if there is a place for us to come? Well... Mrs let me check if I can get a place for you, Okay Mrs... hmm... we got a place on the day that you requested and the time is 14:00 on the 5th of August...Thank you so much then see you next week on the 5th of August!
The day of the hospital appointment: 5th of August!
Early in the morning, Mum went to wake up Charity to get ready for the appointment that they will be going. Before they left the house Charity's mum called her sister and brother-in-law to join us to the hospital because she was nervous so she took them along to the hospital.
As soon as they arrived at the hospital after 15 minutes the specialist called Charity's family to come in: I welcome y'all family Owusu-Ansah... I guess? Mum: yes please... we are the family Owusu-Ansah! Alright then!
Y'all have a seat, please? So... what brought you guys here? Dr. Boot asked, Mum: well...came here for my daughter Charity she has some problems and we don't know what to do that's why we are here, please.
Dr.boot: hmmm... and what may be the problem if I may ask? Aunt: my niece is now 4 years old but is still not able to walk or even talk... what I know is that the age that children must start to talk is around 1 or 2 years! but my niece is now 4 years old but isn't even able to say a word! Uncle: yes that is true but what we have noticed is that when we call her by her name she will look at your face but doesn't respond on it.
Mum: secondly as a child of 4 years old even if she is in a wheelchair she must at least be able to put some steps with the support I guess?
Dr.Boot: Hmmm... this an interesting issue that y'all have brought over here hmm... well I am willing to help out to find the solutions to this, the family: Thank you so much!
Dr.Boot: what we are going to do for now is run some tests and see if we can find something and then later we are going to see what we have to do... Alright?
Aunt, mum, and uncle: alright then we are fine with it! Aunt: hopefully can you help us and find out what's going on with my niece because we are really worried about, Dr.Boot: I understand... just don't be worried we will find everything out... I want to see you guys next week on the 15th of August 14:00 to run some test?! is it alright with you guys? Mum: yes we are fine with it! so we will see you again on the 15th of August! alright then... see you soon again Dr.boot bye-bye!
Dr.boot: bye see you next week!
