that evening before the appointment, they sat down to discuss some things before they would go to the second appointment the next day.

the next day:

Early in the morning, the family woke and made themselves ready for the doctor's appointment.
When they finished getting ready for the second appointment, they took the bus and went to the hospital.
As soon as they arrived at the hospital, Dr.Boot saw them: Family O.Ansah y'all can come in please... Y'all have a seat please?
Dr.Boot: I welcome y'all once again on the second appointment with me...let's go back to the things we discussed last week about Charity's condition. Dr.boot: Well...from what I read here we want to find why Charity is still not able to talk and walk right? Mum: yes please!
Dr.Boot stood up and went to get a box of tissues and placed it in front of mum.
Mum: Dr.Boot what is going on? Why did you place this box of tissues in front of me?

Dr.Boot: well... mum...there are some things I need to tell you about your daughter based on her condition, we did some tests and the results are out now...uhmm...according to the tests that we did the results are in...uhmm the results are saying that your daughter her brain didn't developed in a way that it should be...so it has affected her speech and walking and if we look further it says that she will never be able to walk, talk, eat through her mouth...so to cut everything short she will never be able to anything on her own she will be crawling on her belly the rest of her life and she might not be able to reach the age of 10.
Mum: started to laugh... Dr.Boot...this was a little funny but now let's be honest, what does the results say about my dear daughter? (At the same time mum was a little nervous)
Dr.Boot: Mrs. Owusu-Ansah I am not joking, what I just told you is what the results tells us!
The family Owusu-Ansah: were staring at each other...then the Uncle said with a loud voice: you are joking we will never accept this!
Dr.Boot: please calm down the machines that we used for the tests they don't lie!
Uncle: Don't tell me to calm down!
Mum: was staring at the doctor for a while and turned around and stared at Charity and started to cry, aunt replied: Indeed we won't accept that! While she was trying keep mum calm.

After the appointment they went back home.
