The next day they decided to arrange some of the therapists so that they can support and help Charity with her condition.
Charity started kindergarten at an age of 4 even though she wasn't able to talk yet but her uncle advised all of us to take her to kindergarten so that it may help her talk because if she joins kids like her age it will make it easy for her to talk when she see her mates.
The next morning around 08:00 AM they made Charity ready for her first day at kindergarten so, the whole family went with her to see how it is at the kindergarten where she will stay for a couple of hours a day to develop herself.
When they arrived at the kindergarten, the whole family entered the place looking around there were already a lot of children and some parents bringing their children to the kindergarten. Charity was really nervous when she saw all those people and children around her.
On this first day that she spent in kindergarten, her mom decided to stay with her so that Charity will feel comfortable and feel at home. The head of the kindergarten wanted to talk to the mother to have some information about Charity, so they went to the office to talk they took Charity along to the office. Headmaster: I guess this is the family O.Ansah that I am with now? Mum answered: Yes please we are the family O.Ansah!
Headmaster: Alright then! I welcome y'all to the kindergarten! I guess that this is Charity that is coming to join us in this class? Mrs: yes please, this is my lovely daughter Charity... that's great to know the headmaster said.
Headmaster: well... I welcome y'all once again! I am happy to finally meet y'all... before we can make it official we need some information about Charity before we can go further please, we need her full name, age, and some other information so we have a list here that must be filled in after that it will be official that Charity has access to come into this kindergarten.
Mum took the information paper and filled it in the information that they needed, when she finished filling the information paper in she returned it to the headmaster.
Headmaster: Thank you for filling it in, May I ask why you chose to bring Charity to this kindergarten? Aunt: well... we have searched a lot around our neighborhood and we were really attracted to this place so that is why we decided to come here. Headmaster: that's great to hear that! If I see Charity and her condition I assure you that this place is meant for her! May I know something about Charity's situation?
Mrs: Well...Charity's condition was there from the day that she was born. She is not able to walk, talk or eat through her mouth we as a family didn't accept that we believe that my lovely daughter needs some physical support so that she will be able to do the things that they said she wouldn't be able to do!
Headmaster: wow! that's is really wonderful to hear this! Well, once again I am really glad that y'all chose this kindergarten... there is nothing to be scared of, as you already saw this kindergarten is specially made for children with a disability and those who need extra care in this kindergarten we make sure that every child gets there help and attention that they need. every class has a small group of children at least 10 children and there's also an assistant in every class. I believe that Charity will love this place she might feel it hard to feel comfortable for now but if she continues to come she will get used to this place.
Then the headmaster asked: so for now how many days do you want Charity to spend her hours in the kindergarten?
The family O.Ansah was staring at each other and mum answered: well.. for now, I would like to choose twice a week Monday and Thursday if that is possible?
The headmaster answered: yes of course that is possible!... we can't wait to have Charity at our kindergarten! So now that we have discussed everything she can start by next week Monday if that is okay for you Mrs...?
Mrs: yes of course we are okay with it! We can't wait for my daughter to start! Well, then I guess we have arranged everything right?
Headmaster: yes, please!
The family O.Ansah they stood up, Uncle: that's great! Then we are now taking our leave if you don't mind?
Yes of course y'all can leave now, so we will see you soon again on Monday the Headmaster: answered
