Shie Hassakai hideout, Nighttime, Hari's room...
Hari's POV
"Hari, up!" Izuku chimed, reaching out her small hands to me. Her palms clenched into cute fists and opened them up again, demanding for me to pick her up. I placed my hands between her armpits before picking her body up, making her giggled in glee. "Spin!" She demanded again. Of course, I did as she said, spinning in the room to entertain her. Her giggles became the most beautiful music I had ever heard in my life.
It had been one week since Izuku arrived... She somehow couldn't speak a full sentence, just a few words to describe her feelings despite being a 10 year-old kid. She was intelligent and smart, but couldn't speak properly.
Pops told me, Izuku had gone through a very traumatizing experience that caused her to be an overly quiet girl and has a trust issue with people around her.
So far, she was only comfortable either with me or Pops. If other yakuzas approached her, she would start crying hysterically.
Her Quirk was still mysterious to us.
She was the most timid around Kai. Mysteriously, she was...oddly scared of him. No one knows the reason, even Pops. I wanna ask her but I have a feeling she will be upset if I do so.
Tired, I put Izuku down back in the bed. She whined in protest, clutching onto my top firmly. "More! More!" She beamed out, bouncing up and down. I shook my head no at her. "Sorry, Izuku... I'm tired..." I apologized, ruffling her forest green hair. She crossed her arms in her chest, cheeks puffing out adorably.
"Come on, don't be like that. It's nighttime. We should be in bed right now, not playing." I comforted, playing with the tip of her thick locks. "Wanna play more!" She defied, hitting the bed furiously. I was about to open my mouth to say something back when my bedroom door opened, revealing Kai Chisaki.
