◆Chapter 14◆

A few hours before the meeting with Mirio,
Shie Hassaikai base...

Third Person's POV

Izuku's eyes shot wide open after the weird phenomenon ended. She was sweating bullets, her top was drenched. "I'm...back..." She muttered to herself in disbelief.

When she tried to sit up, a searing pain shot through her half-bottom. Realization hit her at the speed of lightning. 'If I'm not mistaken... Before I met Mirio-san, me and Hari...!!' Instantly, her freckled face went ablazed. She rubbed her face in embarrassment.

'But that is also mean the meeting never happen... I just changed the future by rewinding the time...' A heavy sigh of disappointment escaped her lips. The greenette carefully craddled her legs and rested her chin against her knees.

'I don't think going out to the city is a good idea... If I do that, Hari will get hurt... But I really want to meet Mirio-san again. Oh dear, what a dilemma I am in...' Tears threatened to leak out. She could only bury her face in her knees and sobbed silently.

"Izu... Why are you crying?" Hari's voice interrupted her emotional moment. Hurriedly, his girlfriend lifted her head up and wiped off the tears dripping down her cheeks.

"I-It is nothing, Hari... I-I..." Izuku croaked out in hesitation, in dilemma again whether to tell him the truth or not.

Hari noticed the drastic change in the lovely girl. He knew very well. Whenever Izuku was anxious and sad, it must be related to the vision she saw.

Sighing, the silver-haired yakuza walked over to their shared bed. He sat next to her and wrapped her small shoulders with his strong arm. Leaning closer to her ear, he whispered gently,

"Izu, I will always be here for you. No matter what happen... I will never leave your side... And whatever the future you see, I will accept with open heart.."

Hari settled two fingers under her chin and lifted her head up. Their gazes met each other, both were full of love and affection.

Hearing his reassurance pang Izuku's heart with reluctance. Taking a deep breath, she voiced out her thoughts,

"I just rewinded the time again... I-I changed the future... For the second time."

Hari just tilted his head, confused by her statement. "And what is wrong with that?" He asked, still clueless with the reason she cried. Izuku remained quiet, not answering his question.

"I... Was in dilemma. Right now,  I should be outside, walking around the city... A-and then I would encounter one of the heroes who will end Kai's plan... But, you appeared and he tried to hurt you because of a little misunderstanding. So I had no choice but rewinded the time.."

Hari was stupefied by the mind-blowing news. His dark grey eyes grew wide.

"If meeting that hero is my fate, but then I changed the future... By rewinding t-te time... I-I'm scared it will affect the vision of future I saw before..."

Izuku sobbed, burying her face in Hari's toned chest. Her body was shaking like a newborn puppy. Her emotion got the best of her mental state. She just wanted to cry her heart out– feeling guilty since she messed up the future she wished to happen, because it was Eri's, Hari's and her only salvation.

The raincoat-wearing man stared at her in sympathy. He rubbed circles on her back to comfort the crying girl. "Shh, everything will be fine. The future may have changed a little bit, but perhaps the reality we are saved by the heroes remain true..." He uttered reassuringly. Somehow, that thought suddenly crossed his mind.

Hari didn't know very well how Izuku's ability work out. But he had this easy feeling within his heart, telling him that everything would be just all right. So now, he whispered those encouraging words to lit up back the dying flame of determination inside Izuku.

Izuku was speechless. She was blessed by fate with  such a caring and loving man like Hari, her soulmate, the love of her life, the one who meant to be with her.

Izuku looked up to Hari with teary eyes. The male leaned closer to her face and gently locked his lips with her soft ones. Their fingers intertwined together, as the two were lost in their own world.

'Being with Hari... Make me forget all the problem I go through. The world will suddenly bloom with various kinds of flowers that shower us... He is my entire world. I can't afford to lose him...' Izuku thought, stealing a glimpse of Hari's handsome face.

The female greenette moved her hands up to cup his cheeks. The male silvernette stroked her messy dark green hair gently. Their soft touch were like therapy for each other. It was just... So calming and warm. No other therapy could be compared to their own gentle, warm touch.

After like forever, the couple broke the kiss at the same time, a string of wet saliva attaching their lips. Hari gave Izuku a soft smile. He caressed his calloused, nimble fingers on her porcelein skin.

"Now, why don't we have breakfast? I bet you haven't eaten yet...except for me." A mischievous smirk full of amusement spread on his face. Blood rushed up to her head. Izuku smacked his shoulder harshly.

"You pervert! Stop thinking dirty of me!" Izuku scolded, puffing her cheeks in protest. Hari could only chuckle at her hilarious reaction. He patted her fluffy head as a token of apology.

"Sorry about that, baby girl..." The gentle yakuza apologized even though he didn't feel guilty about it. His sweet voice made her heart melted. How can she say no to him now?

"J-jeez, fine... But next time, I won't forgive you! I'm serious!" The girlfriend warned in seriousness. The boyfriend just nonchalantly nodded his head.

"Get ready. I will come back later. There is something... I need to deal with. For a few minutes only." Hari reluctantly informed, his irises glanced at the expensive watch he wore on his wrist.

The way he worded his sentence sounded a bit sketchy, but Izuku thought nothing of it. She just obediently nodded her head, complying her boyfriend's order. The man gave her a peck on the lips.
"See you later, Izu."

"See you later too, Hari."

Hari stood up from the plushy material of the bed. He glimpsed over his shoulder to look at Izuku. "Don't be late, okay? Go straight to the dining room once you are done preparing yourself." He reminded for the last time.
"Yeah, I know. Don't worry, I won't go anywhere else... Because your heart is my eternal destination..." Izuku shyly said, looking down to the mattress. This was her first time giving Hari a pick-up line and she hoped it wasn't embarrassing.

Hearing her pick-up line, Hari's face was coloured with deep shades of scarlet. He turned back to his front to hide the blush. "O-okay..." He stammered. It wasn't like him to be so nervous around Izuku. Usually, he would act so dominant that Izuku gave in to him. But now... She got him back.

She just made him blush in surprise.

'I never expect her to flirt with me... That is a surprise and a great development.' He chuckled quietly.

"See... See you in dining room, Izu. I gotta go now." Hari said, excusing himself. Izuku just nodded her head repeatedly.

With that, Hari exited their room, leaving Izuku alone in there...
