The next day,
At hospital,
Morning...

Midoriya's POV

I fluttered open my eyes when a surge of energy flowed through my body. The first thing I saw was a white, clean ceiling. My room was reek with the scent of hospital medicines. I scrunched my nose in disgust.

Ugh... Why am I smelling hospital medicines—

Hold on. HOLD ON.

HOSPITAL?!

I sat up myself at the speed of light after a rush of realization hit me. I looked around this unfamiliar, studying the decoration, colour and the furniture in here. It wasn't a mistake. This was a hospital ward room.

But why am I here?

The last thing I remember is...

I was holding Hari in my arms protectively... When a mysterious dart shot my shoulder and knocked me out of consciousness.

Is that a sleeping dart or something?

The door of my ward room cricked open, revealing a teenage boy with blonde with bandages wrapped his arms and many aid plasters on his face. When our eyes met, a wide smile graced his good-looking face.

"Izuku! You are awake! Finally!" Mirio-san exclaimed in delight. He skidded toward my bed, the smile on his face never disappeared. I tried to muster a smile for him, though my body felt a little weak.

"Mi... Mirio-san... Are you okay?" I asked, eyeing him from head to toe. He just grinned while rubbing the back of his head. "I seem pretty beat up, huh? That Chisaki guy is quite strong after all! But don't worry, I'm overall fine!" He gave me a proud thumb-up.

Tears pooled up in my eyes all of a sudden. Mirio-san started to panic when he saw my condition. "Hey, it is really fine! I'm healthy like a newborn baby, see?!" He showed his muscle to convince me.

I smiled a smile of relief as I wiped off my tears. Those tears weren't because I was sad. I was happy and relieved. My feelings were mixing too.

"I'm very glad... You are doing fine." I stated calmly, my voice was a bit croaky and weak. "By the way, Mirio-san... What happened to me? Why am I here?" I started to ask him since I was completely confused.

"You see, one of the heroes thought you were a yakuza so he shot a sleeping dart at you. I was glad it didn't harm your internal organs!" Mirio-san heaved a sigh of exhaustion. "Oh..." I just hummed in understanding. My mind suddenly reminded me of Eri-chan and Hari.

"W-wait, where is Eri-chan—"

"That girl is doing good." Another voice interrupted my question. A bespectacled man wearing expensive white suit entered my room too, along with an older man who had messy blonde hair and sunken cheeks.
