I know that boy's not her cousin.. I've met ALL her cousins. Besides, who holds hands with their cousins? I've been watching her since she's got here... There was more than hand holding. I even made sure to get it on tape.. Wait till Michael hears about this.. I pull out my phone and text Michael.

Michael's POV:
When I get to Paco's diner, Starr's sitting there on her phone smiling.
"Hey..." I say
"Come here." She says waving a finger at me.
"I'm here. What no "hi" back?" I ask
"Hi!" She says, pulling out her phone again.
"Can't we be serious?" I ask. She holds her phone up to me. There is pictures of Candace kissing, hugging, and holding hands with another man. They're uncomfortable close together. "Oh.."
"I told you I haven't been lying." She says, her eyes pleading.
"I'm sorry." I look away. Hurt more than ever.
"It's fine." She goes to hug me.
"Look.. I gotta go.. My mom misses me.. I have a turkey in the oven. I just have to go.." I hold back tears.
"Bye Mike." She waves.
"Bye.." I reply, and leave the diner..
