Ashton's POV
*5 minutes later*
I knock on Madison's door.
"Come in!" She hollars, and I open the door. "Ash baby come here."
"I'm so tired of all the fighting all the time.." I tell her as she hugs me.
"I understand." She whispers to me.
"Ever since Mads has came home the day my mom found out my mom has been treating mads like shit. I understand she was stupid. I understand it pissed her off. But she's her daughter. Madilyn needs some comfort.. Not constantly being shunned.." I look her in the eyes.
"Your mom might not know how to handle this. I mean you- her first born- is a good child. You've never got a girl pregnant, you've never smoke, never drank alcohol without her consent. You behave. Then to have a child who is the COMPLETE opposite of you... Thats gotta be hard. I agree the way she's treating Madilyn's not cool. Your mom's gotta understand most teenage girls are like Madilyn. She's young, and she's dumb. Shit'll happen.." She hugs me tighter.
"I really hope they figure things out soon... Or I won't be able to be home often.. The fighting is pissing me off." I say
"I know hon, I know. Just stay strong, and have a little faith." She kisses me.
"Can I sleep here for tonight?" I really don't wanna go home tonight.. The house is.. a little.. Cold.
"Sure babe." She tells me
"I'm gonna call my mom." I walk out of the room, and pull out my phone to dial my moms number. She picks up after the second ring.
"Ashton Fletcher, where are you!?" She almost yells
"Madison's. I'm staying here for tonight." I prepare for a lecture.
"Okay.. Be home by tomorrow.. Please.." I feel like she knows why I'm staying
"Okay."
"Bye baby. I love you" She says
"Bye mom." I say and hang up. my phone buzzes
Mom's being civil.. She apologized for being rude to me.. Whats going on? I'm scared.. She's never apologized before..
My mom must know.
Honestly I don't even know text me how it goes tonight.
"Madison, my moms starting to be civil..." I hollar in confusion.
"That's good to hear?" She has the same tone...
