Let you down

All the voices in my head get loud,
I want to shut them out.

I didn't want to let you down,
I guess life ain't what we want it to be.

You don't wanna know my hurt,
Yet you expect me to try to help you?

How can I help you,
If I can't help myself?

You want me to apologize?
I guess I could,
I don't know why I am,
When you hurt me.

You don't realize,
Your actions actually hurt,
Until we want to leave.

Every time we meet it's never even.
When did I become below you?

Why be friends,
Talk about stuff that didn't happen?

We all know,
I'm going to play pretend again.

I'm leaving now,
