Sobbing and sniffing filled the whole house. I bet the neighbors can hear our ugly cries; but what could we do? Even Sungyoung, who was usually unfazed by absolutely everything, was joining us in sobbing. The movie is just emotional for us. To put it vividly, our eyes were red and puffy. Our noses were stuffy....

"No matter how many times I watch this, I always cry." Seonghyun sniffed.

"I didn't cry that much." Harin mumbled.

All of us looked at her as if she just said the least obvious thing. Oh wait-

"What??" Harin asked.

"Shut up, you still cried!" Sungyoung groaned.

"Yeah..." Sooyeon agreed, nodding.

"Anyways, we can have a sleepover tonight. It's getting late anyways!" I said.

"They say we're connected with our soulmate with some kind of string.... I forgot what it was called." Harin explained.

"RIBBON OF FATE!!" Hara and Sooyeon both shouted. It took them a second to realize what had happened. They laughed as if there was no tomorrow.

I don't even know how we got into the topic of soulmates. One minute we were talking about BTS and the next, we were talking about destiny and all that stuff. But hey, I ain't complaining!

"I'm sure that's just fake news." Sungyoung noted.

"Shhhhh!!" we hissed.

"Anyways, please continue." Jinsung said, glaring at Sungyoung. The older scoffed.

"Uh... yes! Now, where was I...?" Harin asked herself.

"The Ribbon of Fate." I reminded her.

"Oh yeah! Anyway, they said you might not notice, but you'll always be in the same place as your soulmate. I don't know if it's true, because as far as I can tell, I don't see where mine is." Harin grumbled.

That's when I noticed Sungyoung actually paying attention to what Harin was discussing. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"A soulmate is someone that you are destined to be with. Not a pet!" Hara rolled her eyes.

"But, still! If you're tied with someone, shouldn't he always be with you?" Sooyeon argued.

"This isn't Wattpad, Sooyeon!"

"Well, it doesn't have to be!"

"Whoever my soulmate is, I'm sure it isn't him!" Jinsung shuddered.

"The chances of him being your "destined mate" are slimmer than a hair strand...." Seonghyun said.

"But there's always the possibility that he could be..." Sungyoung muttered.

"Shut up, Sungyoung!"

"You have a point, Hara. But who are we to prove that?" Harin pointed out.

That's when Hara wickedly smirked. It's giving me chills.

"I dunno! Ask Y/N!"

"What??" I asked, incredibly suspicious of her sudden change of behavior.

"If you find your soulmate in an unexpected place and time, you owe me five bucks."

"But why??"
