Later that day as Maddy laid in her bed, she kept replaying in her head what Colby said to Tara. She felt stupid for thinking into as much as she was, he was after all just a boy but then again, she never felt this was about a boy before...she had never even had a boyfriend.

Maddy picked up her phone and decided to call Jules.

Jules: hey hey girly

Maddy: hey...

Jules: what's wrong? I can tell by your voice somethings up

Maddy: I just can't stop thinking about Colby. Is that crazy?

Jules: no Mads it's not crazy. I've known Colby for sometime now and I know for a fact he'd be into a girl like you. You just need to play it by year and see where things go...you've only know each other for like 3 days. Stop stressing.

Maddy: I guess you're right

Jules: I know I'm right Mads. I know this is all new to you cause you've never had a boyfriend or really felt like way about a guy because you never let yourself have time for boys but now is your time. It's summer and you're in L.A now...have fun

Maddy: yeah...that makes sense. Okay Jules thanks. Love you

Jules: love you too. Listen I gotta go...I have a girl over and your call kinda...got in the way of something.

Maddy: shit I'm sorry. Why would you pick up if you were in the middle of...that?

Jules: id stop a war to be at your aid Maddy, you know that

Maddy: you're the best Jules. Okay now go, have fun

Jules: peace.

Maddy hung up the phone and decided to go onto Instagram. She decided to look up Andrea to get a better idea who she was. "Holy shit" Maddy said to herself. "She's fucking beautiful. How can I compete with this" she said to herself once more. As Maddy stared at the pictures she got a notification that someone had tagged her in a photo.

Maddy was reading through all of the comments and she read some nice ones and some bad ones but a lot of them were about how his fans thought Colby and her should date. And then all of a sudden she realized her follow count going way up. She didn't know how to feel about that...all of Colby's fans were following her and commenting on her pictures, she had never gotten this kind of attention before...she liked it.

Texting Colby:

Maddy: your fans are blowing up my Instagram

Colby: in good way or bad way? I have a lot of fans that hate on any girl I mention..

Maddy: mostly good actually ☺️ they are all really sweet. A lot of them are saying we should be together lol

Colby: they're shipping us, I see the comments 😂 #Molby #Coddy

Maddy: those ship names are awful but if I had to pick...it would be Coddy 😂

Colby: Coddy it is. We are now officially shipped Canadian girl

Maddy then decided it would be the appropriate time to take a new Instagram picture for her new followers and perhaps to catch Colby's eye. She felt like a 9th grader trying to grasp her crush's interest through a picture. She hated it but she was compelled to do it because she truly wanted Colby's attention.

She fixed her hair and put on a Calvin Klein sports bra and began taking pictures of her self.

After about 20 or so photos she finally got the perfect picture.

Maddy read the comments on her photo and the only one she cared about was Colby's. The word 'cutie' circled her mind over and over again. She then read the hate comments that were flowing in, was this how it was going to be begin friends with Colby? What happens if things take off between them? Will she get death threats? Maddy brushed off the thoughts, it was a few girls that she would never meet calling her ugly..her confidence and self esteem was way to high to care about what they were saying.

Texting Colby:

Maddy: Cutie huh? ;)

Colby: oh...my friend took my phone and wrote that 😐

Maddy: yeah sureee😂

Colby: okay okay it was me but it was only the truth. You're cute...well beautiful to be exact🙈

Maddy: Awh thank you Colby

Colby: just the honest truth.

Maddy: so sweet. Anyone I gotta go, in so tired. Bed time for me😴

Colby: okay, goodnight

Maddy laid her phone down on her bedside table and then proceeded to scream into her pillow out of pure happiness. Did Colby really just call her beautiful was the only thing she could think of at that very moment.
