As I made it in the house a lot was going through my mind. All I was thinking about was the night I just had with Trey. I can't lie he opened up to me deeply.
But I couldn't find myself to do the same. If he knew the hell that I've been through with Demar he may not even want me anymore. Grant I know it was not my fault. But still.
I walked in my room and cut on the shower. I started taking my clothes off when my cell phone started ringing. I walked to the bed and sat down.
"Hello."
"I see you answered the phone for me. Nice." Trey said.
All Kyra could do was smile.
"I told you I would didn't i?"
"You did. I just hope I didn't make you feel some type of way with me opening up to you like that."
"No you're fine. I actually feel bad."
"Why?"
"Cause I didn't open up to you about me."
The phone got silent for a few seconds and then Trey answered that.
"Honestly if it takes you a while I get that. I'm not gonna force you to tell me anything. But I will help you get pass that. I really like you and want this to work out." He admitted to her.
"But why me?" Kyra asked.
"Cause there's something about you. I just feel that we need each other."
Kyra got quiet again and just listened to Trey talk to her. She never had a boyfriend before. Nor have she willingly had sex with a man. So she doesn't know how to feel. But she did like the feeling she was feeling. But she was also scared at the same time.
"Kyra I know hurt when I see it. And you have been deeply hurt. But don't let that stop you from experiencing something real with me. I'm not like most men. I'm all about serious relationships. When I was younger I played those games too. I'm too old for that. And I want a wife not a girl." He expressed.
"Damn. That's really deep." Kyra said surprised at his words.
"Well that's me. I'm very personal. And if you give me this opportunity I will show you that I'm all about you."
Kyra sighs deep and smiles.
"Are you ok over there?" Trey said laughing.
"Yeah um I'm fine. It's just that I haven't never been in a relationship before. And I haven't even had men to even try." She confessed.
"Well I'm trying. And I want you to give me a chance."
"How you gonna do that and you stay way in Miami?"
"Let's worry about that when the time comes. I already got a plan for that." Trey said.
"I'm actually about to jump in the shower can I call you back?"
"Under one condition."
"And that is?"
"Let me come back and hold you." Trey said.
"You want to do what?"
"I want to come back and hold you. No sex. Just me holding you until you fall asleep. Can I do that?"
A smile creeped on her face and she felt that feeling again. She was trying to hold herself but it wasn't working.
"I-I guess you can. Give me about 30 minutes and I'll be done."
"I'll be there. And Kyra?"
"Yes Trey."
"You want regret this." He said in his deep husky voice.
They hung up and Kyra fell back on the bed. I can't believe I just told him he can come back. This is crazy. I jumped up and took my shower. I lotion down body and put on something that will catch his eye.
I went to the living room and got me a glass of wine of the fridge and waited on him to arrive. Thirty minutes on the dot my door bell was ringing. I took a deep breath and walked to the door and opened it.
When I saw him standing there smiling my heart started beating very fast. I didn't know what to say or do.
"Are you gonna let me in or just stand there and stare at me?" Trey said laughing.
"I'm sorry. Come in." Kyra said as she stepped back and opened the door for him to enter.
Trey walked in and kissed her cheek and stood in the living room. She closed the door and locked up. She walked over to him and stood in front of him.
He looked down at her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"So are we laying in here or in the bed?"
Taking a deep breath she said "we can go in my room."
"Lead the way baby." He said pointing his hands out for her to walk.
Trey followed behind her and they walked into the room. As they walked into the room Trey closed the door behind him.
He sat on the side of the bed and took his shoes off. Kyra laid down in the bed nervously. Trey laid on his side and pulled her into him. He wrapped his arms around her and laid his head in her neck.
"Hmm. I love this feeling right here. This is so romantic and peaceful to me." He said against her skin.
Trey closed his eyes and squeezed her tightly. Kyra couldn't help but close her eyes and the touch from Trey was relaxing her.
"Kyra?" He said softly.
"Hmm." She said back softly with her eyes still closed.
"I know we just met and all and I understand if you don't feel the same way about me as I do about you. But I believe in love at first sight and I feel like I'm falling for you."
Kyra opened her eyes when he said that to her. She tried to turn around and look him in the face and he stopped her.
"Don't turn around. Stay like this. I want to hold you as long as I can. Just think about what I said. Let me love you." Trey said as he kissed the back of her neck.
"Good night baby" he said.
"Goodnight." She said back as tears ran down her face.
He is such a gentleman!!!!
