Angst I guess

3rd person:

Ever since Felix had a mental breakdown because he felt worthless, Chan had made it his mission to ensure it didn't happen again.

Every day Chan would send him voice messages telling Felix something he loved about him. Little by little Chan noticed the changes in Felix's behaviour. After a couple of times where Chan talked about how much he loves Felix's freckles and how they look like stars beautifully placed on his heavenly face, Felix had stopped covering them with makeup. At least in the dorm.

Felix would look forward to his daily voice messages, altho confused as to why the elder didn't just say it in person. He had them all saved on his phone, and would listen to them daily with a soft, happy smile on his face, unnoticed by himself, but not to the person who brought the smile on his face.

Chan lived for that smile. He would do anything to make Felix smile that way more often. He had tried so often to tell Felix how he felt in person, but he also wanted Felix to be able to listen to it over and over again.

While that was part of the reason he told Felix through voice messages, it was mostly because whenever Chan tried to tell Felix face to face, he couldn't find the words and he would stutter a lot, so it was easier to say it in his messages.

When the boys weren't busy preparing for a new comeback, or when they had days off, Chan would spend hours writing smalls songs or poems while thinking of Felix. He hid them safely in a drawer in his room, making sure the freckled boy wouldn't see those awkward feelings.

Woojin, on the other hand, knew exactly where the songs, poems, love letters and whatever Chan had written in his Felix induced state were. Sometimes he would sneak into Chan's room when he wasn't home, just to read them so he could tease Chan with it.

Once, Woojin had stolen them and threatened Chan to give them to Felix if he didn't buy the elder all the chicken he wanted. Of course, Chan obliged, scared to death of the youngers reaction to his letters, and Woojin kept in mind that Chan would do anything to keep those letters hidden.

-time skip because what is time-

Months had passed with Chan sending Felix voice messages every single day. Chan had gotten more comfortable with saying it face to face as well, so the younger was almost constantly showered in love and adoration by the elder Aussie, not that he minded at all.

You see, over the past months, with Chan's constant loving notes, the younger had realized he had feelings for the elder. He was used to the cuddling and physical love he always received, but the constant flattery was getting to him.

Who wouldn't start to develop feelings for someone who cares for you with all their heart? Who showers you with love to the point you could burst?

One thing for sure: Felix couldn't help but fall deeply in love with his Hyung. Sadly, that had some consequences.

Felix noticed how close the eldest were. The way Woojin looked at Chan with a certain softness. Almost the same way he looked at chicken.

Felix especially noticed that Chan and Woojin seemed extra close right after their days off, and it hurt. He wanted to be the one closest to the Aussie, and he was going to make sure the Aussie didn't stop showing him affection. He needed to secure Chand feelings for him, but how?

As it turns out, Hyunjin was quite helpful for that. The elder had noticed the freckled Aussie's distress and had talked to him about it. When he found out all about their situation, he promised Felix he could fix the problem. Felix, in his desperation to be loved by Chan, agreed.
