Your Sorrow

So yeah, I'm in the mood to make angst. Also, someone asked for a part 2 of "Your happiness" so here you go.

After their wedding, Felix and Hyunjin laid in their bed and talked about the day. They talked about how everything had been so wonderful, and they looked through the pictures. Felix was looking for any picture with Chan in them.

He had noticed that the elder had seemed a bit off at the wedding. He had looked so happy when they danced together, but Felix could tell something was wrong. The pictures brought him little help. Chan smiled in every picture. Even in the ones where he was in the back.

Hyunjin felt his husband's worry and tried to soothe him, telling him it was probably just Felix overthinking. Felix wasn't completely convinced but he nodded and put the pictures away, cuddling up to his now-husband. He really hoped Hyunjin was right.

But we all know that of course he wasn't. But no picture in the world could reveal what had happened to the lonely soul who lost the love of his life. He had cried and cried and cried until there were no tears left to cry. He had felt every emotion until there was nothing left to feel. He had seen the most beautiful thing in the world, and now he let it go.

He no longer felt sad or hurt. He no longer felt the love tugging at his heart, for he felt nothing at all. Something inside him broke. There was no jealousy, no sadness, no loneliness. Just an empty shell of a human.

Minho came home from another party and saw his friend on the floor surrounded by pictures. He could tell that Chan had been crying, but something was off. He could feel it. He called out to Chan, but he got no reply. The older male wasn't sleeping, so the fact that he didn't respond only concerned the younger more.

He shook Chan, first gently, but more desperately as time passed. He checked the pulse and the breathing to make sure he was okay. He was crying with desperation to get his friend to respond. He cursed himself for not having gone to the wedding when he knew how hard it would be for Chan.

He buried his head in Chan's lap and sobbed while apologizing. After crying for a while he sat up a bit and looked at the pictures. The happy Felix smiling at his best friend, who looked like a corpse, made Minho feel sad again.

Minho felt Chan move and looked at him with hope in his eyes, but the dead eyes that looked back at him tore his heart apart. He sat up and cupped Chans face in his large hands, gently stroking his cheeks. "I'm here Channie-hyung. I won't leave you again, I promise...." he whispered as he kept stroking Chan's hair. Chan tiredly closed his eyes and just rested against Minho's hands.

Minho managed to get Chan to his bedroom and Chan slowly got out of his tuxedo and went to the bathroom to clean up. Minho went back out to clean up the pictures, quietly praying that Chan would feel better after some sleep.

When he got back to Chan's bedroom, he saw Chan exit the bathroom in just some boxers. Chan collapsed onto the bed, and Minho tugged him in. "It's been a long day Channie-hyung. Get some rest and let's hope you'll be better in the morning. It's our day off so let's go have some fun, okay?" he asked in a chirpy voice hoping to get even a small smile from the older man, but all he got was a soft nod. He bit his lip and tried to continue smiling before he left with a soft 'goodnight' and went back to his room. He needed to make tomorrow extra special.

The next morning Minho woke up early to prepare for the day. He made some breakfast for the two of them while trying to figure out what they should do during the day. He wanted to take Chan to places he usually loved going to, but he also wanted to avoid places with too many memories of Felix, which made it so god damn hard.

He decided on going to a different coffeshop than they usually go to, and then go to the planetarium. He was excited. He loved the planetarium, but Felix had never had the time to go with them there, and Chan had wanted to share the experience with him, so Minho thought it was a good place to go.
