15. The Concert

Naomi’s P.O.V

“Girls are you ready?!?” Niall’s Irish voice drifted up the stairs.

“Nearly!” Came Molly’s muffled reply. We were all getting ready to go to the boys concert and all the girls were in my room finishing their makeup and hair.

“Ok. Umm we have to go! But we’ll meet you there. Ok?” Louis yelled up the stairs. I scrambled up from the bed and raced down the hall, stumbling down the stairs and almost colliding into a very surprised Louis and Niall.

“Yeah we’re almost ready.” I said breathlessly as Niall pulled me into a hug. “We’ll just meet you there.”

“Ok. I’ll tell the rest of the boys.” Louis said before skipping, Yes skipping, to the other boys who were in the front hall. Niall softly pecked my lips and hugged me tight.

“I’ll see you there. Remember your security passes.” He winked before going to the other boys.

“BYE!” I yelled to them as they left the apartment.

“Bye!” “See ya!” “I LOVE CARROTS!” came their replies as the door shut. I giggled to myself as I run back up the stairs, taking them two at a time. I rush into my room.

“The boys said to meet them there.” I say to the girls as I grab my purple strapless dress and pull my clothes off before sliding it over my head.  I went to the mirror and stood behind Kate, who was putting the finishing touches on her makeup.

“Gurl you look hawt!!” She drawled as she laughed. “Niall’s not gonna be able to resist that hot bod.” She giggled as she looked at me.

“I haven’t even out makeup on yet. Or done my hair!” I exclaimed. She giggled again.

“Don’t worry babey.” She said standing up to give me a hug.

“You looked amazing!” I exclaimed as she reached for her shoes. She was wearing a black dress with a high neckline and buttons all down the front. She had a thin brown belt around her waist and her hair was tied up in a high bun and an ear cuff secured to the top of her ear. A tiny feather tickled the nape of her neck as she pulled on her brown high heeled boots which she called her babies. I don’t know how Liam is going to resist.

She looked up at me and smiled.

“Thanks hon.” She said as she stood up. Her dress fluttered out as she walked over and embraced me into another hug.

“I’ll see if the other two are ready.” She says before walking into the bathroom. I nod and turn to the mirror, coating my long eyelashes in black and framing them with eyeliner.  Molly, Sarah and Kate emerged from the bathroom looking as gorgeous as ever.  I let my hair tumble naturally onto my shoulders and pulled on my strappy black high heels and going over to meet them.

“You ready?” I asked them as we left the room. They all nodded except Molly who rushed back to her room grabbing her purse and car keys.

“Yep. Now I’m ready.” She laughed as we walked down the stair and out into the corridor, Kate locking the door behind us. We giggled and joked as we descended in the elevator to the lobby. As soon as the door opened Kate rushed out and ran though the empty lobby as we all raced after her laughing like maniacs.

Kate reached Molly’s little blue Kia first trying to wrench the door open and failing.

“It’s locked!” Molly called to her. Kate automatically stopped trying to open the door and pouted like a three year old. We laughed at her as we reached the car and Molly unlocked it. She quickly slid in shot gun and Sarah and I hopped into the back. I snapped my seat belt on as Molly pulled out of the parking space.

“One Direction here we come!!” Kate yelled as we sped down the small streets of London.

Liam’s P.O.V

We all stumbled off stage as we finished our sound check. Louis was on Harry’s back as they chased Niall around backstage, narrowly missing a security guy.

“Come back little leprechaun!”  Harry yelled

“We want to eat you!” Yelled Louis as they rushed past me.

 Niall let loose a loud laugh and tried to use Zayn as a human shield as the two boys came powering into him and falling onto a heap.  I laughed at them as they struggled to get up, tripping over each other and falling again. I stuck my hand out and grabbed Niall’s lifting him from the pile.

“Thanks mate.” He laughed as we pulled up Zayn together. We looked at Harry and Louis who were now in a kind of wrestling match.

“Should we leave ‘em?” Zayn questioned. We looked at each other.

“Yeah.” We said in one voice. I turned and headed back out to the stage where the curtains were closed. I pulled them back slightly and looked out into the crowd. It was packed and the concert didn’t start for another half an hour! I felt a hand on my shoulder as Niall looked out into the sea of people.

“You reckon the girls are here yet?” he said.

“I dunno. I hope so.” I replied. I felt a vibration in my pocket. I pulled out my iPhone and glanced at the screen it was a message from Kate. A smiled lit up my face as I read it.

Just got here :D Can’t wait for the show to start :D Kx

I smiled as I typed a reply

Neither can I :D got ur backstage passes?? Lx

My phone vibrated again

Yep J see you soon K x

I smiled and put my phone back in my pocket and tapped Niall on the shoulder, who was looking through the curtains again.

“Niall mate. They’re here.” I said to him. He grinned at me.

“FIVE MINUTES BEFORE CURTIAN CALL!” Someone yelled. Niall and I went and joined the rest of the boys to be fitted with our mics.

Five minutes later I stood with the boys as the final countdown was happening.

“You’re on in 10.” A backstage worker on my left said. As the video clip on the staged counted down I jumped up and down trying to calm my excitement. I looked over at the backstage worker and she signalled us.

“Three, Two, One!” She said as we all bust on to the stage.

“HELLOOO LONDON!!!” I yelled as we launched into our first song and I forgot everything and enjoyed the moment.
