Chapter 1: Wake Up Call (Part 9)

"Whoa, where the hell do you think you're going?" Mondo said, more like yelled and stood in front of Togami.

"..out of my way, Narwhal." He said, with an unnecessary amount of sass. Mondo cracked his knuckles, it was very loud. But then Makoto  stood between them.

"Hey guys, we can't be fighting right now" he said, pleadingly.

"The hell you say to me punk?" Mondo said, turning to Makoto. He towered over the Lucky Student. "Wanna give me a lesson on teamwork?!" Mondo yelled and swung at Makoto.

He punched him right in the face. Makoto was unconscious before he even hit the ground, which made a loud thud sound. Most of the girls gasped. I say most because Kyoko and Sakura made no sound or movement. Mondo stormed off, nearing ripping the door off its hinges. Togami huffed and slowly left the gym. Everyone slowly followed in pursuit. Except Sayaka, Sakura, and Asahina. They were by Makoto. Sakura carefully picked up Makoto, by leading by the other two and went down a red hallway. A quick glance at the plates on the doors, told me these were dorm rooms. I heard myself taking multiple shaky breaths. Was I scared? I...couldn't exactly tell. If so, I have never been this scared before.

After calming myself down and looking around campus, it was pretty big even though it was only the first floor. I made my way to the cafeteria. It was huge, it had many entrances, even leading into a kitchen. Mostly everyone was there already, i took one of the few empty seats at the table everyone shared. I was seated next to Mondo and Leon. Even though it wasn't intentional, I could hear Sakura and Junko speaking

"May I ask you something...?" Sakura asked.

"Whats the haps..?" Junko questioned as she twirled one of her pony tails.

"I don't mean to gawk, but you look different in person than you do in magazines." Sakura said.

"Ohh. Yeah, the photographers always gussy me up for photo shoots." Junko said "Ya know, make up and stuff..."

Then I heard the door I entered in open. Makoto and Sayaka walked in. Makoto was rubbing his head.

"Hey, there's the man of the hour. How ya feeling?" Asahina asked.

"Hah, I'm alright. Thanks..." Makoto said.

"No hard feelings right...?" Mondo asked, it was only now that I noticed his feet were on the table. It made the perfect in me scream and cringe at the same time.

"Yeah, its cool" Makoto said sitting on Mondo's other side. "Put it up to stress..."

I suddenly felt an urge. I stood up and planted my hands on the table. "The first meeting of the students committee shall now start. Everyone. State of your discoveries." I stated. I could practically hear Togami roll his eyes.

"Oh! There's a staircase close to the gym. But there was a gate in front of it. And it wouldn't budge" Asahina said.
