"Really? How so?" Celeste asked.

"After she and Naegi switched rooms, she swapped their name plates. My notebook missed this detail entirely.

"Then she was luring someone into Makoto's room.." Chihiro said.

"Well if memory serves correct, I believe the phrase tossed out a little while ago was luring someone to their death?" Togami stated.

"Yes, it stands so. And it's the only logical conclusion left. Of course that point's the finger away from Naegi.." Kiri said. I swear I saw Makoto say, finally.

"Fine whatever, then who killed her?" Leon asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Makoto said. "Whoever she invited to my room turned the tables on her, got to her first.."

"We're actually going with this idea that they swapped rooms with Makoto to try and off someone?" Asahina asked. Yes? why wouldn't we, it's the only thing we got.

"It's not the worst of gambits. Once the deed was done, she would have an out. All she would have to do it switch the name plates back to pin it on you" Togami said, looking at Makoto.

"She would never do that.." Makoto said.

"Oh puh-lease. Wake up. What could she have possibly been up to if not that?" Togami asked rudely. "Her fatal misstep of course was giving her victim the opportunity to fight back"

"They got the first stick in with that katana!" Hiro blurted out.

"No, that was used in self-defense" Celeste argued.

"Yes the damage to the sheath implies as much, had things gone according to plan Sayaka would be alive and standing here with us. Pointing the finger at Makoto. " Togami said.

"I trusted her..why would she.." Makoto started.

"Why wouldn't she? It was an iron clad way out of here, was it not?" Celeste asked as she finished.

"If we omit the fact that it was a spectacular failure yes, poor fool" Togami remarked. Harsh.

"Don't talk about her like that" Makoto said.

"Oh I'm sorry." Togami said, was he though? "Do you have a reason to defend her?"

"No but still.." Makoto said before getting interrupted for the umpteenth time.

"Quiet, this isn't the time to argue. Focus" Kiri said, which contradicted the purpose of this trial.

"Yes, quite right. The murderer is still at large and time is running out." Celeste said.

"Let's get to it then.." Togami said "It's one of us.."

"Well duh, but how the hell do we pick?" Hiro asked.

"Uhh, we're all goners, I knew it. I'm too young to die, it's not fair.." Toko rambled. We were starting to loose ourselves. But then, something that was said stood out.

"Well, guess that's pretty much it for us. Damn, if only there was more to go on, right? We're out of clues" The Ultimate Baseball Star said.

"That's where you're wrong" Makoto suddenly said.

"The hell am I missing then?" Leon asked.

"She left us a message..not the one on the notepad.." Makoto answered. He...was talking about 11037 wasn't he?

"W..what are you driving at?" Leon asked, his grip tightening on his podium.

"She left a dying message. One scrawled in her own blood, on the wall behind her" Kiri added.

"That's right, what did it say?" Hiro asked.

"You mean that random stream of numbers? " Asahina asked.

Mondo looked at Chihiro and asked "Hey you're suppose to be some crazy genius with numbers ain'tcha? The one she leave behind mean anything special or what?"

"I tried every decryption trick in the book, but whatever they're suppose to mean I don't know. I'm sorry.." Chihiro answered.

"That's it I've got it!" Makoto suddenly shouted, making a good number of jump in surprise. "What she wrote out wasn't just a string of numbers. She wrote out her killers name!"
