Seated, a man is seen to be pondering such a decision as great as the end of humanity. Looking to his very torn physique and delicate facial expression, it is evident that this was not one he ever imagined having to make. He begins swaying his chair from side to side, stopping for the chair to then come to a complete stop. In haste, he moves his arm to pick up a mobile from centre table and places it against his left ear. "Sorry, it's just a difficult decision to make at this time." he pauses for a moment, pondering a few seconds more before he speaks again. "I would be an idiot however if I declined your offer for a more stable position" a subtle smirk appears across his face, lasting seconds. "So I guess what I'm trying to say is...yes. Thank you. Yes you too, bye." A sense of relief escapes the mans face, as it takes a moment or two to process his new career opportunity. He however can't help but still sport a subtle pained look. Cutting him from his thoughts a woman sporting a police uniform steps into the room. 'Fallon? How come you're still here?' she says. Startled, he looks up at her expecting someone else. Realisation kicks in however, and he looks around, making himself aware of his surrounds. The desk is filled with paperwork, Fallon's name is written as leading officer for each one. 'Alesha. I've just been going over my old cold cases.' he sighs. She looks at him for more details but falls short as her expression lessens to a more sympathetic one. 'Does this have something to do with the call you just took?' she questions. 'Yeah, I'm moving into a new job space where concentration levels are going to be high, the payout for success though is unimaginable but so is failure. It would be smart of me to take this opportunity but I'm also worried at what I might be leaving behind for good.' she looks at me knowingly 'I'd say go for it hot shot. You know the team will be proud. What else stopping you?' Fallon looks at her in surprise. 'Well, these cold cases for one. But also a special someone, it's complicated. His face showing that very same pained look from earlier. ' That special someone will understand. I mean... If they love you enough, they will let you go explore the world alone as you wish.' She stops speaking however its clear there was more to say. Her facial expressions showing clear conflictions, however she must have gathered up enough courage as she begins to speak again this time more direct. 'Choley will understand she says as she goes to leave. 'Yeah, that's what I'm most worried about, but thank you' he explains. 'All good, Just don't stay here forever contemplating what could.' and with that she leaves. Fallon slowly gets up and decides to give his desk a little tidy before leaving for home. He then reaches over to where he was seated, removing his jacket from the back of It and walks towards the open doorway of the office and out of the building.
